The app does what it says on the tin and it does it well. Very clean, simple interface. Easily to load up for quick sessions when I don't have a ton of time. I also appreciate the option to add on additional fonts as I struggle with some of the more modern Thai fonts and practicing them, specifically, is helpful. However, I agree with others that the ability quiz specific groups of characters such as different consonant classes would be incredibly helpful.

This app is exactly what I wanted... Something to be able to hear a letter then be quizzed in different ways to see if I can correctly (and consistently) identify it. I upgraded to premium, as some of the Thai fonts look very different, and are fairly commonly used e.g. on signs etc, so I think this is a great feature. However, I've taken a star off because the audio recordings are poor (badly recorded or very low bit rate) and sound crackly. If they were re-done I'd give 5*.

I can see three problems with this app. First, there is nothing about diphtongs, only individual letters, though there is some material about numbers that I do not need yet. Second, there are recurrent crashes. Third, they keep on asking for our review, after a short while it's after each exercise. I would have liked to use the app a little longer before writing a review, but I am writing it now hoping they will stop their annoying demands...

I actually learned the alphabet with this app! I wanted to be able to recognize symbols and read basic Thai, and I've learned more than I thought I would. Since it is so quick to practice, get your results, and try again, I actually learned all Thai symbols, and also incidentally learned the names of each symbol, which I did not plan to do. Multiple quiz forms and the ability to set up your own testing make this app stand out. I installed 6 Thai language apps, and this app taught me the most!

I expected a reference for complete beginner how to read and pronounce the letters. The reference in the app expects some background knowledge (eg. what is sara), and the exercises are quizzes for Thai knowledge. So the app is less useful for me having zero Thai knowledge. The quality of the app is high though, there are nice pictures and sound.

Such a great app. Would be nice if there was an option to take off the pictures for the flashcards. I went straight to the games and it helps so much! Gonna learn Thai so me and the wife can teach our kids Thai together. The ไ ใ both have same sounds. There should be something to differentiate those 2 vowels. Hope the app creator would consider updating the app so you can tell which one is which. Other than that this is a great app!

I really want to guve this app 5 stars but, I feel its lacking one important feature and two minor one's. So I give it a 4 star rating in hopes they will come in a future update. 1. Needs an option to review what you got wrong on the quiz. 2. The ability to individually select the characters I want to be quizzed on. (This plays in with the first option, and would a1lso alow, for example, if I only wanted to quiz myself on the middle class consonants). 3. Number & tone quiz maybe? Thank You😊

A few weeks ago, I had the hardest time remembering the consonants. What has helped me is to write out the words I know and to keep a daily journal of three to five simple sentences. I use this app to keep my memory of the Thai letters and marks fresh. It helps! Thank you.
