AndFTP Pro unlocks advanced features for AndFTP application. AndFTP is a file manager that supports FTP, SFTP, SCP, and FTPS. It provides commands to rename, delete, set permissions on remote files and folders. It can upload or download files and folders recursively. It supports RSA and DSA keys for SSH. You need AndFTP free installed. Features in Pro version are SCP support, folder synchronization, custom commands and import settings from file.

Pro version acts as an unlock key, it does not have any icon and you cannot open it. Once installed it unlocks all features of the free application. You can check it by running the free application, then Menu->Options->Advanced and you should see "License: Pro".

What's the deal? I purchased the AndFTPPro upgrade for my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and S21 5G, but while the purchase page shows "compatible with this device" (my S20 Ultra 5G) the app details download page shows "Couldn't install on some of your devices". When I open the AndFTP app on my S20 Ultra 5G phone it still only shows as the basic version.

Installed the app, no app icon anywhere. Reboot device, removed app and installed again, same thing. Back to the free version I go... -update: after info from the developer (Pro version is just a key/license and needs the "free" version installed to work), I stand corrected. I have re-purchased the Pro version and now have an ad-free FTP client (with the option to switch between active and passive mode, which is a requirement for me).

Lots of complaints about update issues. I got the warning about needing the newest update past version 4. Went looking for a new version but only found this version which said it was installed. Uninstalled it and reinstalled, got the same warning when I opened the app again, but after that I opened it one more time and it showed it was now version 5 and works fine.

Three years after the report we still don't get to choose (or even know) if the file will resume (good) or overwrite (bad) before the download continues. "allow resume" should mean "allow resume" not "allow resume or overwrite at our discretion".

A couple of yesrs ago I complsined that the app wont sync to an SD card. It works fine for manual downloads but will only sync if master is kept on internall storage. i wrote to devloper = no reply. today i bought pro version again Same problem

Although this has an outdated UI it works well as an ftp client and it used to be my go to ftp app. Unfortunately it doesn't support session resumption for FTP over TLS, which is required if you use FileZilla Server v1.0.1 for security reasons. If you use FileZilla Server v1.0.1 you will need to use another app Total Commander (checking box "SSL encrypt") as AndFTPPro won't connect to FileZilla Server. Hopefully this app will be updated to fix this issue.

Seems to work well. However, I have been unable to get resume to work using SCP. Some documentation would really help.

After buying this app I found that it does not support session resumption for FTP over TLS, thus requiring a compromised setting if you're using any reputable FTP server software. Too late for a refund however and no response from the vendor...
