Edusign Academy, een geesteskind van Deaf EnAbled Foundation, is een uniek initiatief dat het dovenonderwijs in India zal helpen versterken. EduSign Academy biedt toelatingsexamen en bachelorcursussen in Indiase gebarentaal voor dove studenten in Telangana en heeft tot doel de academische kloof te overbruggen in het digitale tijdperk dat verder is versneld als gevolg van de COVID19-pandemie.
Met als doel de dovengemeenschap om te vormen tot potentiële arbeidskrachten en ervoor te zorgen dat doven een veilig en waardig leven leiden, biedt het project gratis cursussen in basiscommunicatie, levensvaardigheden en computeronderwijs in een gebruiksvriendelijk en interactief formaat. De gebruiker is uitgerust met kennis die wordt getest door middel van quizzen en een-op-een discussiesessies met onze getrainde dove instructeurs. EduSign Academy is daarom een tot nadenken stemmend idee dat uitdrukking geeft aan de zoektocht van onze organisatie om een inclusief India op te bouwen met een mondige dovengemeenschap.
