Avoid for sensory/attention issues! I have ADHD & lose my remote often. App is hard to use. I have to select my device every use, though I only connected one. If my phone falls asleep, it kicks me out to select device again. The ads, when opening the app, last FOREVER & have sometimes taken 3 screen clicks to exit. They pop up while I'm scrolling, even several times in just minutes! It sets off my ADHD & I have to keep refocusing so I can navigate to select show, volume, etc. Garbage.

Each time you start the app you have to watch 3 adds then are forced to google play in an attempt to get you to download a game. Takes over a minute and a half to get to the remote portion of the app with all the ads and redirects. This basically makes this app the worst and most annoying to use. There are other apps with less frustration.

This app works great, but the ads will have you wishing it didn't. I used this app for less than 5 minutes and I hate it more than I have hated any other app. A ad can pop up for any input you use. Do you know what it's like to go through the settings of a Roku TV and be placed an advertisement every single damn time you look away from the phone and move 6-7 tabs down to look for a setting?!?! This app makes other apps look as though they are barren of ads. I hate this damn app so much

Works yes, except there is so many full page ads every 10 seconds it pops a new one up as you are USING the remote! Making you click the ads over and over. Disappointed. Wasting my time exiting the places the ads take me. What's more if I wasnt paying attention who knows what I would have accidentally pressed ON those ads after it takes ya off the remote app.

Frustration! The app is flawless right to point where the pop-up box shows confirm your connection and a message on the TV asks if you want to allow the app access. You press OK on the phone to confirm, the little circle keeps spinning and you never get any things on the phone to click OK for the TV screen allow or deny. Garbage! And please don't say use your actual remote since the only reason to use this stupid app is because I misplaced it!

great app! It's not only Free, but it also works on all tvs AND controls the volume! As long as you have wifi you can use it perfectly! I've never found a free app till now that you can use for channel surfing or app surfing but also volume! All the other apps you can either use for only turning something on to watch but no volume or vise versa. I will always use this app for my remote needs! Thank you!

You can barley use it because of all the ads. There's a non skippable ad every three seconds Edit: they play 15-20 second ads with no time in-between to actually use this remote. The ads have fake skip buttons to get you to click on the ad and go to their app. I wouldn't buy the pro version of the app if the free version is unusable.

Useless. I've a full Roku subscription, and my remote died. I thought, why not use a free remote until I find batteries. Do not believe this is free. It has ads that cover controls. Forcing you to be bogged down by limited function (no volume control) and then 30 dollars a year? To use a lame remote?? Ill just go buy batteries.
