App works well for my purposes. Although to be fair so does termux. The downside to this app is the ads. If there were a paid option to remove the ads. I'd likely do that instead of moving back to termux.

Very annoying! You start the webserver and maria db and you see ads. Then, they stop automatically all of a sudden as soon as the ad finishes and you press X button for ad screen to go away! And so you have to start them 2 all over again watching the ads. And they auto stop again as soon as you click X button after seeing the ad. Thus going in a loop! All a ploy to show you ads non-stop!

There are still too many ads, and they lock up the app. SSL is impossible unless rooted. No email service. There is no way to change file permission unless rooted... not even in Windows 10. Android 14 is part of the problem. Help files are still terrible. Make it work for Zencart 2.1.0, and I will consider using this again.

Absolutely atrocious with the ads and app crashing were I have to rewatch all the ads where I spend more time on ads 9 to 1 compared to time on the server itself, freaking atrocious

AWebServer simply worked right out of the box for me! Personally I have gone through several so called servers for android, always having to uninstall before even the first project has been created due to errors or simply not working at all. Its nice to finally be using one that's very basic and straight forward. Update 03/16/2021 This app would have my undying loyalty if it allowed access to the Apache configs and or the ability to use htaccess files on local server.

Revised but leaving up in case anyone else has the same problem, you have to specify 127.0.0.1 to connect to the database, "localhost" will not work. No reason to withhold stars now! BEFORE: So... I'm giving this 4 stars rather than going down lower as it could be my inexperience or an unrooted phone problem, but I can't connect to the database via PHP. I just constantly get a "permission denied" error. But for PHP server work, it has been a dream come true!

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT don't even watch the ad to see if you can host a website on your phone. Gives them money for nothing. It's not going to work without port forwarding (I presume) which i can only assume is impossible over your provider's data connection. And if your savvy enough to enable port forwarding on your home network, get tautvydas andrikys' apache server app for free with neither annoying 30 second ads or ad banners. Yeah, watching an ad, the reward you get is starting a server..

Instructions for maria database is incorrect. User: root Password : root Everytime I go in to check settings the servers stop. I had to move the http file root. Everytime I start a server there is an advert. Too many. Set a max per day. Tell newbies mariadb comes with a database : test. Change the doc root to something you can find with a file explorer.
