The app is truly amazing but currently suffers from a glitch with the undo feature where undoing something can sometimes erase the drawings on the frames selected as if it was never drawn on, and this issue gets especially dangerous when editing multiple frames or simply moving them. Just 2 minutes before writing this review 5 frames I was trying to duplicate and move (which I ended up undoing) caused all the my drawings on those 5 frames to be deleted with no way of getting them back.

I give it 5 stars because it is an animators' app. (But it also has the best Android brush engine I've seen.) The fact that it has glitches after updates and a clunky interface do not override my love for how it feels to use this app. It feels better than the more stable mainstream painting apps that tack on onion skinning. This app is simple, fast, and fit to purpose.

Currently there's a strange glitch? Essentially, the entirety of a frame becomes invisible. Or just completely deletes. It's hard to explain, but I'll be working on one frame, and switch to next, only to see it completely gone. And even when I press undo to see what caused it, it's shown taking pieces and strokes from...nothing. It's as though it never existed, and I was editing nothing before. It's very weird, and I hope it gets fixed soon. It's really starting to cause me some problems.

"Rough Animator totally rocks for anyone into animation! This app is super easy to use but packs a punch with its cool features. You can jump right in and start animating, whether you're a newbie or a pro. The best part? It makes your animations look slick and pro-level. The timeline and keyframe stuff is smooth, and the drawing tools are spot-on. And when it's time to share your masterpiece, Rough Animator's got your back with lots of export options.

Great app. Its easy to understand, and easy to manipulate. The only problem is the app keep crashing, almost every time i edit multiple frames or maybe upload multiple images, and especially when i try to draw in it the app its not responding (i just give it some time and it works again). Really hoping that someday you would optimize it for low end phones but at the meantine keep it up!

Typically, this is an awesome app, but it breaks my Bigme Inknote tablet. When I open it, the screen flashes indefinitely and renders everything else—including Android gestures—useless until I reboot the device or "force clear memory". It is Android 11 and fully updated. But I'm thinking it's a problem with that specific device. So, for those with working Android, definitely recommend, this is awesome!

Rewriting my review to say the new update has been great and thanks for listening to my feedback about the center cross, really improved my videos by using it more often. Really fixed a lot of problems. Gets a bit slow and laggy if I make a really long video, but that's probably just my phone not able to handle it. Cant wait to see what the next update holds, looking forward to it. Oh, I just remembered, a cursor when using eraser and pen would be helpful to see how much is going to erased.

Look, I like the app, but when I was working on an animation, I had digitally downloaded it a few days ago, it did not load correctly or something due to it having some layers blank and all the names erased. It also wouldn't allow me to play it back. Can you guys please fix this. This has happened multiple times now.
