Very convenient for ordering ahead of time and you can save some money with rewards points, until you lose the reward points and not get the free items that you earned. And what a waste of time and money to order pickup online and not have the particular order available when you arrive to pickup your order. And can't get a refund in person but have to request a refund through the mobile app, very frustrating.

I don't care about your double points if I cannot order what I want to order from the app. Limiting customization and variety from the app orders makes 0 sense. Why do you want more people in person fumbling through a complex order instead of ordering ahead exactly what they want and showing up to get it? The app is a glorified virtual loyalty card that must be used in store. But hey you get double points if you order the stuff you don't want with ingredients you can't remove. --- Up/ Still bad

Charged me but didn't place my order. I have a charge on my credit card from EINSTEINBROS_MOBILE, but the store didn't get my order and there's no record in the app. It also didn't save my payment method even after making sure I understand my card will be saved. Not obvious how to contact support in app. I'd love to be able to order ahead but not a good first experience.

It's a good app to pay with, but I never use it for anything else because there is no customization. Their app states "To ensure speedy service, customization in the app is limited. Full customization is offered in the bakery." This makes no sense. If one orders ahead, the store has time to fill the order and it's ready when one arrives. Otherwise if ordered in the drive thru it takes longer. Einstein's has it backward. Every other food app allows customization because it is faster.

App reliability is so unreliable that we may stop eating here altogether. The last few times we've tried to order in-app, we couldn't place the order and had to order in person upon arrival, which defeats the purpose of keeping this app on my device. We love the food, but hate the app experience. Do better.

Terrible app. Has been terrible for years. Dev team does not respond to emails. First glaring issue that text does not wrap and overlays other text, this a rudimentary fix. Secondly, and more importantly the credit card auto reload function sucks. It's 2024, why does this app not update your balance instantly? I have auto reload set to add $25 when my balance drops below $10. I get a notification from my card company that I've been charged but the app does not show correct balance. Do Better.

It would be excellent if you were able to place an order for a specific time instead of just ASAP, and being able to order customizations (like extra meat for an upcharge) would also be helpful. But mostly, I was bummed I could not use my birthday reward on the app when ordering pick up ahead of time. Other than that, decent app.

DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS APP!!! The app has multiple issues, including, frequently, not working. It does not recognize an Einstein's Gift Card (their own card). You can't modify your order (no sauce, ect.). It does not let you order ahead of time- cannot set up order the day before. The bagels are good. Staff at store is excellent. App is awful.
