Scan16M is an app for the diagnostic/datalog of ECU Marelli M15-15RC and M16. They equip Italian motorcycles from 1997-2000 models: ST2/4, SSie, 916/996 depending on the year. I can't test on P8 failing test vehicle. Scan16M allows you to connect to read sensors and defects, erase them and start Active diags. You can save the value in CSV file and convert it in DIF to read with LogWorks (Innovate Motors @TM)
Phone/Tablet must be USB HOST (like Samsung Galaxy SII and TAB10"). The OBD - KKL interface connects via a USB port. We therefore need an interface that will also serve on PC and what connect to the diag Jack, ECU (Tyco 3 points) and 12V from the motorcycle joint at the point mass 2 of the Tyco plug.
To use it need order a microUSB OTG [on-the-go] Cable, it happens for 3 to 5 euros.
Warning : Some Smartphone are not OTG, like the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini
