With the MAX app you can order and pay for your food with your mobile phone.

Locate Max restaurants, customise burgers and save orders as favourites.

All food is made-to-order. When your order is completed, the order number will turn green in the app and on the order ready board in the restaurant. Simply show your order number to the staff when collecting the order.

The back button in Android is supposed to take you out of the app after you've just opened the app. It shouldn't just flash an empty screen and take you back to exactly where you were. This is quite embarrassing. You also have 3 notification channels. Two of which are named the exact same thing, so we have no idea which one does what. And on top of this, the notifications just show nothing when they show up. No "body" and no "title", just the max logo which makes them useless unfortunately.

With one of the latest updates the app is awfully slow, it takes forever to load the location list, and when it finally loads it doesn't even show them all and I have to press the "show more" button which introduces MORE loading and waiting. We are talking minuts here, not seconds. Should have been tested before release, and frankly don't change something that already works fine if not better. The favorite part is good idea, except its for products and not locations...

This has to be the worst app redesign I've ever had to experience. Performance has taken a nosedive; every action takes up to 10 seconds for the app to process. I had to remake my order 3 times (!) because the app claimed that I lost connection. And while making your order, there is a non-skippable nag screen that asks if you want to add "something else" not only once, but after every selection you've made. This is predatory and just plain bad. You've lost a faithful customer today, bye!

Update: Is in a bad cycle. Used to be better a few years ago, now the latest updates have made it very unstable and slow. Sometimes will not start, and just shows blank screen, no info or messages. Terrible UX ¦¦¦WAS: Not so shabby now. Is getting better and better. But it does not have any idea about how soon you can get your food. Ordering to pickup or get curbside, it says 4 minutes, which never happens. You need to order 15 minutes beforehand, or they never make it. You always have to wait.

You can now change any burger to salad wrap! I really recommend this. It's nice to be able to order coffee after the meal without getting up until it's done. I wish the app was aware of how many orders was before you and estimated a time instead of saying "soon" for 20 minutes. We ordered well before arriving, the system should be able to squeeze the order in at the right spot so it is done at the requested time!

For me the app does its job. However, recently there has been a lot of push notification ads which is quite annoying. Whats even worse is that they are the same notification category as the "order complete" notification so you if you want to disable them you have to disable one of the core features of the app.

Payment verfiably goes through (Swish) but Max app never returns from the "waiting for payment" screen. 🤨 When I then *CANCEL* the order, the payment goes through and I get a receipt. 🤯 Beside this completely broken payment system, the app has about 50,000 UI problems that make you facepalm (which is strangely a trend with all these fastfood order apps). 💩 Oh, and why do I have to provide an email to store favorite items, when you can just save that to local user data?
