You can see the moon phase of today and browse through phases by day or week by swiping finger across the screen. Gardening tips displays the information that is important for bio-dynamic gardeners. It is based on the American Tradition of the Lunar Gardening.

It also include an exposure calculator for photographing the Moon. It will give you the estimated shutter speed required based on your ISO, aperture, weather condition, moon location and phase. You can also use month view to see phases over the entire month and quickly move to specific day with taping it. This application also include some nice widgets to use at your home screen so that can always see the phase of the moon.

Ads are obnoxiously loud on start-up. Can only change the theme to two colors (orange or blue). Widgets are limited to four 1x1's and two 2x3's, and the text color is based on the theme of the app (as in orange or blue text, no normal white or black text, or any other color for that matter) Maybe you have to pay for these features.... but as an app specifically designated as a widget app, this is HIGHLY disappointing.

Concise, simple, and to the point. The visuals are pleasant, and the features of the app ~ such as zodiac and plant info adds an interesting dimension. Love the calendar feature, which allows you to see what the moon phase will be for any given date. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a balance between a straightforward info app and one with lots of extra fluff that doesn't really add much.

Used to be simple and awesome, now the UI is a cluttered mess and the trial version (oh yeah it used to be free, too) has not just large, bottom of the screen ads, but about 4 full screen pop ups every 5 seconds, sometimes 2 or 3 at once. useless for anything but a widget, but it can't be set to block clicks. what happened to this app? had it on my last phone and loved it. now it's a convoluted mess that I need a replacement for; even a paid one.

Works fine, nice graphics, and simple but poor layout design at the intuitive level (i.e. to change phases you just tap, but to go back to the current day you need to find out that the option is at the unfoldable menu, it makes you explore but you can get easily confused, frustrate, and uninstall it). I was looking a purely astronomical widget that help me explain myself how is it that I've felt like been living recent eclipses twice over a few months

The ads were fixed so they're not too obstructive at all now. I love all the features & the interface is very intuitive & easy to use. I love the widgets. Since it also contains the astrology, I think it would be cool to add the symbolic meaning of the different moon phases into the app also. Like if the user single taps on the bottom middle of the screen, something could pop up to mention what the current moon phase symbolizes, like how new moons means new beginnings for instance. Just an idea!

Unfortunately, what I wanted most was a widget for my screen with just the moon itself showing. For whatever reason, that's not working. I can open the app and use it, but the screen widget is all I was really into. Very disappointing! I am still looking for one that works.

This would be a lot cooler and more helpful if the MASSIVE ads at the bottom of the screen didn't nearly obscure content or take up so much space. It would be pretty without the giant white boxes, now it's just ugly and jarring. Cool concept for an app though. I might find a different one to try.

This app was OK before you added the ad banners that obscure content on every page. It would also be more valuable to show information about the effect of a particular moon phase in the sign, as opposed to showing astrological info for the sign itself. It is, after all, a moon phase widget. If this wasn't the only widget I've found that shows the moon phase on my home screen, I'd delete it. Grrr!
