No way to contact dev for questions or concerns. I love that it allows special tones to be applied based on keyword of notification text, it is especially useful in home automation apps! However, the tones it uses are installed as media files, so they will not adhere to bypassing "Do Not Disturb" settings and will not play if media volume is turned down or muted. Should classify as "notificationn tone" type then the flaws would not be present.

Great app to set individual notification sounds for apps. I don't like that access to notifications (& related msg text?!) is required, as I am not using its functionality to read my potentially-private msg/email text. However, I am hoping that this app is non-malicious ... my antivirus app currently thinks it's not. If there is a lower-level permission that can be granted instead that doesn't involve reading message txt, then that would be a great update to the app. Otherwise good so far. Thx!

The most clever and useful feature is the ability to produce a custom sound based on the text in a notification. I have a home automation app that can notify on many kinds of conditions. Some are informational and others indicate a problem but the app cannot create a unique sound based on the condition. NSM can be configured to read the text of the notification and deliver a unique sound. This is a tremendous enhancement since I can now distinguish different conditions by sound.

I tried everything I could and I couldn't get anything to work. The ringtone field was empty. I followed instructions and on one page it asked if I wanted AUDIO files, RINGTONES or a third option. It only allowed for one selection. When I saved it it said I didn't tap on multiple selections. It was a no ended request. I tried to read the yellow text on white background (what were they thinking) and didn't understand anything. Until it's fixed, it's 1 star, because it doesn't allow 0 stars.

I'm not actually sure if this works for notification sounds. Does it work for notifications or when I have my media volume up. If it works like it's supposed to, I might be able to give a 5 star review. **Update - Nevermind, figured it out that if you have your media volume on mute and your notification volume on max, there will be no custom notification. Original 4 stars, now 2 stars 😔😔😔.

Developer has been very helpful in getting some recent glitches fix, A few suggestions via direct messages from the developer seems promising in getting the app to work properly again, I cannot say enough good things about this app, with the use of keywords & phrases inputted, it will only notify you in the middle of the night, when you are sleeping, for those keywords and phrases, and ignore all other unnecessary notifications, if you so desire. really appreciate it. Highly recommended🙌👍

So far so good. I had a different notification app that hadn't been updated in four years, so it was time for a new one which brought me here. It's working well and doesn't randomly leave my notifications muted afterwards like other apps have. I wish there was a way to turn off the pop up that comes up each time it makes a sound (checked in-app and system settings, but maybe I missed it).

Why not configure the app? Your apps says You can only consider notifications whose text contains at least one of the specified keywords. You can add multiple keywords separated by commas. CAUTION: Do not enter the new line character. How to fix l already try. but not to fix.
