(Update from my review roughly a year and a half ago) A gamble on whether you will be able to finish your game with all players (users, not AI) active. I still am having the same problems with players taking too long. It seems they get stuck in ads, and I have had this happen to me occasionally as well. If A-Star would like to contact me, I have a screenshot of the most recent time this happened to me. (The close ad X never appears, and you're booted from the game.)

Settings on this game do not matter. When playing solo, the settings for your partner don't seem to matter. Very conservative and normal, well did not notice a difference. Playing hard or medium level also does not seem to matter as well. The ads are annoying and the same thing over and over. seems like they purposely trick you into hitting a very small x to move on that always brings you to the website.

App is fine, works alright and the ads aren't too bad. Some really basic quality of life elements missing. Why can't I: - mute players - block players - why can other people kick MY partner so soon? I should get the option to kick and then after, idk, 30 seconds, the opponents should. WAY too many games where people get booted after not playing for 15 seconds. It is very frustrating to have someone say "Let's Go!" 30 times a game if you dare take longer than 5 seconds for your turn.

2020 Response to developer: ads are necessary but not necessary during the middle of a couple minute game. I have days of playtime and have played for years. Developer hasn't added anything new for a very long time but they sure updated how many ads you see. Interrupts middle of your game now. Update 2025, they still haven't added any new features/ais/ or more normal scoring systems but the ads are more frequent than ever. Still avoid this app. Have been using it since 2018, trust me.

I wouldn't call the game rigged, but there is absolutely a formula used to determine hand quality with who you're paired up with. I find that if my team has a higher combined rating than the opposing team, I get slightly worse cards. If the other team has a higher combined rating, I get slightly better cards. This isn't always the case but it certainly happens more often than not. I believe it's designed this way to get all users to endlessly "average out" so people keep playing.

I don't care that there are banner ads at the top of the screen the entire time you're playing or that there are long tedious ads you have to double tap out of between hands, or even that you have to pay $10 every month to get rid of ads. But it's absolutely ridiculous that I can get kicked out of a game "due to inactivity" because I wasn't quick enough at figuring out how to skip an ad that is clearly hiding it's fast foward button. The logistics are poorly conceived and the greed a detriment

Update 9/26/20: seems to have corrected the issue with closing in the middle of a game. Now the only thing wrong with the app is getting dealt 4 suited hands. Haha great game. Keeps closing while I'm playing. Was working fine, then just kept closing in the middle of gamelay. Updated the app, still happened. Uninstalled and reinstalled, still happens. Can't figure out why.

I really wish I could give this game 5 stars because it deserves it. DEVELOPMENT: please make ads during multiple player ONLY when you are the dealer. This gives maximum time to load the add, and skip before being booted. Also, I think you have a broken ad in your queue. Multiple times I've lost a game because an ad simply won't load. It's infuriating to lose a game because an ad won't load. I'd buy no ads btw if was REASONABLE!! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE CHARGING $20 ?! Trash. $5 max.
