Hádanky s kódovými slovami, ktoré vás zamestnajú počas prestávky na kávu.
Táto plná verzia obsahuje viac ako 1000 kompletných hádaniek.

Kódové slová sú krížovky so zvratom – neexistujú žiadne stopy.

Namiesto toho je každé písmeno A-Z reprezentované náhodným číslom 1-26, pričom rovnaké číslo predstavuje rovnaké písmeno v celej skladačke.

Stačí sa rozhodnúť, ktoré písmeno predstavuje ktoré číslo.

Napríklad všetky 1 môžu byť T, všetky 2 E a tak ďalej. Dostanete niekoľko listov, ktoré vám pomôžu začať. Všetky písmená A-Z sú prítomné v prvých hádankách, s jedným číslom pre každé písmeno (neskoršie hádanky nemusia mať nevyhnutne všetkých 26 písmen v mriežke).

Mriežka kódových slov sa zobrazí celá. Ak ste naozaj uviazli, potom môžete odhaliť list. Skvelý spôsob, ako si skrátiť dochádzanie!

Úrovne obtiažnosti:

- Jednoduché hádanky majú bežne používané slová a slová sa v balení pravidelne opakujú. „Dané“ alebo počiatočné písmená sú tiež starostlivo vyberané, aby sa prvé slovo alebo dve ľahšie vymysleli.

- Stredné hádanky majú vo všeobecnosti menej opakovaných slov v celom balení a niektoré hádanky nemajú zastúpených všetkých 26 písmen, takže napríklad Q, X a Z sú často prečiarknuté, pretože sa v danej hádanke nevyskytujú. - Ťažšie hádanky majú menej bežných slov, mien, skratiek, iniciálok, viacerých slov, množných čísel, amerických a britských pravopisov a často menej počiatočných písmen. Vlastne všetky triky v knihe, aby boli trochu náročnejšie.

Fun and challenging game. Some things to keep in mind though: 1) It uses both American and British spellings (liter, litre) 2) It uses proper nouns, names and places 3) It uses contractions (you've, can't) Keeping that in mind, it's challenging, fun, and a good way to pass some free time. One question for the developers: If I click on Check Grid before I enter anything (on a new puzzle) it says I have none right, and "Not a Sausage". Huh?

Overall it's a good game but there's a lot of room for improvement such as updates to the icons, images and general feel of the game and turning it into a TRUE offline game. At the moment it checks for a licence when opening it the first time. An option to export your progress to a local file would also be helpful as well as swapping the unstarted puzzle red "X" for perhaps a gray dash since it looks like the puzzle has errors in it at first glance.

Solitaire Burton

A great computer version of codewords. Easier to play than with pen and ink, but as fun and great brain training. I have a few teazel puzzles and generally like the way they play: you can check how you are going. Without paying for it. They seem to specialise in word games and do them well. It's a really good way to play codewords.

I have just started playing this game, and started on the medium level. I haven't tried the hard yet; I am saving it to enjoy more, as I find the medium way too easy. If I hadn't purchased the game I would have just started out on the hard level, but I don't want to go through the games too quickly. I will review again, once I start playing the hard level. 🙂

Great game! This is the 2nd time I've bought it. The first purchase was spread around all my other devices, 4 phones & 2 Fires, over the years. I've played through the whole thing a number of times, too. I like it so much I had no problem buying it again. They're a good team, I e-mailed them questioning the spelling of a word and they got back to me! Turns out it was a British spelling of the word. GREAT GAME

Great little game. Just needs a next game button, to save navigating back to list of puzzles and maybe have the completed games show at bottom of list so you don't need to keep scrolling to find next puzzle. An optional extra might be a link to a dictionary as some words are quite obscure.

Although I really enjoy this game. It could be improved by not having to go back every time you win. Need a next game "button". The most irritating thing of all is the fact that every time you go on to play a new game, you have to choose the pack, click on it, then scroll down to the next game. Surely it would be easy to remember where I was last and open up onto the next game. Also a timer would be fab 🤞🏻

Update: The developer has contacted me and is going to do another update to choose blue, red or green crosses. I'm so impressed - thank you so much! Original review: My 93 yr-old dad loved this game until the recent update. The change to blue crosses on the keyboard, has made it difficult for him to see the letters under the crosses. He has memory problems so likes to see all the letters. Please can you change the crosses back to the original red colour or an option to choose? Thanks!
