Displays grid refs. BNGR updates sloooow. 29 secs if walking, eg 25 yds. If looking for anything 5cm square, useless. No copy2clip. No display of accuracy, which with GPS is no better than an indication even in open ground, but would have been useful. More than a toy, but....

Being a radio amateur, it would be very useful if could also show the information as a 2 digit number to indicate a 10km x 10km square as this is used for a long standing award programme. I know that it can be extracted easily from 4, 6 etc but showing a very simple 2 digit format would eliminate the chances of any errors at all.

When a storm decided to come back for a second sweep, light was dropping and my phone was getting low, I opened this quick app, took a screen print and emailed my route plan including my starting point. It was invaluable as it took seconds.

Great app. Use it for making map of woods. Good to about 5m. Occasionally throws a wobbly, no better than 20m so need to confirm points next day. Checked repeatability with 50 readings at my desk. Most points within 5m circle. This on cheep and old Android phone. Surprising.

Requested access to my files and did not display any data without giving access, so not really free. I switched to Ordnance survey App. They charge but is very good at maps, location and routes.

Picked up satellites quickly and like the ability for 10 digits - essential for my work. Just real shame that there is no accuracy in meters given - needed for my work for pinpoint accuracy

It does what it says on the tin but as others have said it requires access to files. Can't really see why this is necessary for an app that's so simple. Have uninstalled it to find an alternative that does not require these permissions.

Works well at all times. Need for a little patience at times. Very accurate. If you're worried about adds switch off data mode. Works from satellite positioning so caution in forests..
