Analyzer works great. Surveyor is easy to use, but switches between 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands every 20-30 seconds if both bands share the same name. So in the middle of a warehouse survey for 2.4GHz devices it switches to 5GHz, making it look like there are areas with poor reception. Can you add a setting to choose the band when starting a survey? Also, in a survey I can tap on the 3 dots under the floorplan to see info about the last marker, would be nice to be able to see this for any marker.

Easy to use -- and no ads. THANK YOU. Needs a spelling error corrected and maybe an empty circle to show where selected SSID measurement was attempted. (I emailed them to you) I agree that an export to CSV or something would be nice (that has an option to checkbox select which SSIDs to export to CSV and/or maybe something google earth import compatible) Thanks again!

I can't believe all the negative reviews! I've used this app many multiple times and aside from the occasional glitch (which was probably my phone) I've never had a problems! Plus, I haven't checked for a while, but I haven't found any other apps that offer a surveyor tool, that actually works! I was able to use this tool to triangulate the source of my neighbor that was trying to spoof my wifi! I just used a screenshot of my Neighborhood off google maps for the floorplan and bam! shut him down!

Edit:. Thanks for responding. I stand corrected. I've verified what you said in your response. I didn't realize the NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES permission required ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION in order to start the scan and get the results. Original: Requires precise location. Won't scan without allowing it. Major red flag / security concern.

Surveyor mode strength doesn't update after the first point without restarting the app. While seeing the strength is useful, having to restart the app between placing points makes it basically impossible to use.

No ads, seems to work well Update After 2 days solid use. App works extremely well. No crashes. No ads, no upselling or DLC. Everything is well explained and adding custom Floorplans etc is easy. Helped me diagnose a wifi performance issue with my new mesh network, and with the wifi signal mapping has allowed me to plan for future node purchases. Excellent app. Thanks.

Clean UI, easy to use. I installed this app to figure out which areas in my building had the worst coverage and this showed me everything I needed to know. The survey mode was super useful to show other people visual results. The only issue I had was with the 5Ghz channel, interference, and signal charts. It will not show my router on the 5Ghz charts even under the All tab though it appears in the WiFi Details tab with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Not sure why that is.

Previous version worked well. You must give permission to app to access storage which makes sense and is the hiccup for most WiFi mappers. However, app doesn't find or list any wifi around my house and refuses to even let me select an AP. When I used this 6 months ago (and my Android was the same major version everything worked fine and and as intended)For this and that previous version, I wish mapping in allowed signal quality by color only with key or text appearing at select point verses labels at all mapped points. Kind of makes the field test report look messy. Hope to have it working again, but trying after restarting phone hasn't seemed to work with WiFi glitch that must have appeared during App update.
