This app keeps shutting off my phone number right around the holidays. First Thanksgiving and now Christmas 2024. It's super buggy, and it never used to be like that. I've had that number for over 10 years, and out of nowhere this year, they just keep disabling my account, then reopening it after a few weeks. By then, I've missed calls, texts, pics, and videos. This is ridiculous!

Would give Zero star if available. Calls drops at 32 seconds. Person you're talking to hears an echo of their own voice. Texting was ok until last night. App stop sending and receiving text messages. Tried to log out and back in. Haven't been able to gain access since I logged out. Help desk said I needed to contact Google since account was setup through them. Google said I needed to contact the app developer. Getting the runaround with no access to my messages or calls

Always been a good back up number. However they do monitor your texts, and I know this because a friend of mine was blocked from using it for some nefarious texts they sent, which really aren't their business, and is a major invasion of prjvacy. This was years ago I uninstalled them when I heard about that. Maybe things have changed, but I have never heard of a company doing such a tacky thing.

Highly Disappointed! My account was deactivated without notice. After using this app for over 15 years it was deactivated. I used it as a secondary number will being stationed overseas and never had issue until now. It was in constant use with text, calls, etc so there was no excuse to delete my account.

Focused Prospective

This app is a waste of time, I went through the trouble of signing up for an account, I was making and receiving calls, and sending messages without a problem, this was working perfectly for a few months, then one day I received a message from this app stating that I would no longer be able to make calls or send text messages, until I verified a different phone number, if I had a different phone number, I wouldn't be using this useless and crappie app, other calling apps do not require this.

I was sad at the thought of losing my phone when I switched to another carrier. Then I discovered Text...free (is this text free I'm reviewing?) and now I can use my phone again as long as I have an internet connection! No really, it's cool, the only markdown is because of the overwhelming numbers of ads that sometimes you can't even seem to navigate out of. That irks me.

This is a pretty useful app that is especially great for texting or calling internationally. I would give it 4 to 5 stars, but the ads can be a bit much at times and it needs a really great connection to make calls, so often calls don't go through when you need them too. Texts are fairly reliable though- this is my go to "phone broke"/"out of service" texting app.

Honestly I preferred this app over many other texting and calling applications. Although, the amount of ads that still pop up after sending a message, making a call, or even looking through out my message conversations is overwhelming for me and my Android. I am frustrated as I buy minutes so I can make calls and support you. I'd love to rate five stars but the ads are extremely irritating especially when it's urgent. I'm sure all of you have had urgent messages or calls received or and been trying to make urgent calls or messages. Imagine if you weren't able to make those calls or messages due to the ads slowing you down to the point the app will crash or freeze. Thank you for reading this, I hope you can do something about the ads. But everything else is cool I don't ask for much as a consumer dang it! Lol.
