After a Samsung update yesterday August 2nd 2024 The app had issues connecting to the TV. I went into the settings on the TV and it wasn't showing any devices as having permission to connect. I rebooted my phone and the TV and it's working now. But of course this was after trying to connect my phone every way possible including IP address with all of those failing, just a simple reboot thanks Samsung 🤬

It use to work well like literally I could turn on or off one of the TVs the other one had to be on to connected but it was fine, now it doesn't want to connect and when finally approve on the TV it ask for permission every 3mins . We got 2 TVs and one controller got lost is frustrating to be approving the permissions all the time. Deleting the app.

This is an excellent app. Works perfectly on a Samsung 5 series TV & Note 20. I am grateful to the developers. Extremely few ads, none of which are invasive. No banner ads, either. Great selection of setting options. The app looks great, too. It's very similar to the OEM layout. It's well designed. It's use a great remote that's impossible to lose! Give it a try. Very infrequent ads despite some complaints. The updated version has virtually no pop-up ads. It is a great application that's free!

Contrary to what you see in some other posts, this app totally works fine as of December 2021. The one-star reviews about an update that "broke the app" did no such thing - probably some settings got added that needed attention. Anyway, I installed the app, it immediately discovered and attempted to sync up to my Samsung 2019-era TV. I had to click "accept" on the Samsung remote, and just like that, I have the entire remote on my Samsung phone. All buttons and features work perfectly.

Works well with my Samsung Q60C Smart Television. Some of the button functions such as Tools are not available on my Television so do not work. Also it is not possible for some reason to turn the TV on with the power button. But all the important functions are available and work. I especially like the function to send text to the Television from your Mobile's keyboard. I think the app is a lot better and nicer to use than the official Samsung Smartthings remote control app for the Television.

Perfect app. Fast, configures automatically, simple to use. Other apps fail in one or more of these. There's just one thing. I can't do anything to get rid of the ads. I would pay $10 to be rid of the ads. Every time I start the app, I have to wait for the ad to load, and some of them have further delays before you can dismiss it. This is infuriating when I am more than willing to pay.

Excellent app. As others have said you'll need to download this BEFORE you lose your remote or run out of batteries. The ads are in no way intrusive and continuous so I don't see why people have an issue with that. It works exactly the same as the actual remote in my experience. So yeah - I'll leave the remote down the side of the bed where I knocked it!

It's okay. For the most part it's been useful. I just hate that I can't turn it on and off. Other than that it's been a help out since my original remote was misplaced. **UPATE** I'm changing my 3 star review down to a 2 star review because now I found out that you have to frequently setup your remote every time the TV goes off which is annoying and time consuming. However this works until my OEM physical remote arrives in the mail on 12/20/2021
