I like the content obviously, but the app is starting to get frustrating to use. The video player is a bit archaic. I would like to be able to listen with the screen off, have picture-in-picture, and the option to go back and fwd 10 or 30 secs. Also, it keeps turning off my screen after some 5 minutes which is weird, and the full screen doesn't go on top of my phone controls. Just a few issues but nothing major. Still great app!

3/5 stara just based on the operating state, everything else is fine. I am having similar issues another use was with his S21. I have a pixel 4 and have to keep reopening the app to play the audio, as it turns off when you put the app in the background. It would be nice for there to be a icon on the locked screen, like Spotify, to pause/play/skip. Filtering through shows and audio/video options. Just seems more cluttered than needed.

Love the podcast but hope the app gets a little work done. Anytime I play audio and shut off my screen it'll only play a minute then shut off and give me a "something went wrong" error. Also when I try to whatch the videos my phone still wants to go into sleep mode so if I'm not near and my phone gets locked it'll stop the video

Easy to use, creators are super responsive and clearly listen to feedback. A quick scroll over the reviews and you'll see old reviews about previously missing features like Picture-in-picture mode and Background/screen off support, all of which have been added and work great. The main feature I miss is the ability to queue another video or multiple to play next :) and I'm a new user so maybe it's there and I havent found it yet.

Love the podcast as always, but I do think the app needs a little bit more work done in terms of functionality. For example, when I go to the option "change plan" it just doesn't let me click on it, like it's not registering the click or something. A history of watched episodes would be great too. Other than that, keep up the good work!

I love all the podcasts, and it's good to have all the content in one spot, but whenever you try to listen to the audio version of the podcast with your phone off or in the background, the audio glitches then pauses itself every minute, regardless of internet connection. Wish I didn't subscribe for a while year in advance. Please fix because it makes the app almost unusable for your paying fans.

The app works well but it uses a lot of data. It seems like even if I'm using just for the audio (e.g. with maps open when driving or phone locked in the gym) the video is being downloaded in the background. Lowering video quality has helped (default is 1080p), but it would be nice to just be downloading the audio content. Alternatively/also if there was some way to download episodes for offline use that would be great for flights/commuting where I don't have data. 5 stars otherwise.

The app feels and looks good, has good support with new features being added like the PiP. Still having no media controls in the Android pull down drawer or whatever is still a bummer however, it's the only media app I know of without them. But besides that it's slick, the players are responsive, the layout is nice and straightforward and the continued support has been good, I'm sure this'll all be sorted in time!
