App would be great if it didn't require unnecessary permissions. Why are phone and mic access even needed? They definitely shouldn't be required! Storage should also be optional. Most apps will allow you to turn off unnecessary permissions, but unless you give this app everything it asks for, it won't allow control of the drone. Change the permissions requirements and the app would be good.

App does not agree with the instructions provided. There ate no icons on either side of the app when connected. No way to know the status of the done. Gps also very hard to connect. Waited until it shut off, still no solid lights. Just sits there flashing slowly. Cannot fly over 2nkts wind, it takes off. Junk. Might run it over with 4wd truck.

This app is garbage. It connects when it wants to, which is rarely. Tried it again today and the remote and drone had both shut down and it still hadn't connected. Come on Potensic, get this sorted out now. Important update: I contacted the app developer and explained the problem with it. They have responded with a solution, which is simply to put your phone into airplane mode before connecting to WiFi and then the app. I have tried this twice today and it connected instantly on both occasions. For reference, I am using a Motorola Moto G5 with Android 8.1.0 However, I see no reason why it would not work with other phones. Good luck out there.

As a first time user, it was very easy to install and operate. The drone did everything as described. I've used it on multiple occasions, to my satisfaction. I live in a mountainous area without wifi coverage and have 0 connection issues with my drone. The battery life is short, as described. I suggest an extra battery, (3) like I got which ultimately gives you about 25 mins of fly time. roughly 8 -10 mins per battery.

The app often crashes or fails to fully open to allow on screen controls of the drone and camera footage. I have reinstalled the app but nothing has changed. However, when it does work it's good. Also, the app requests permission to use the phones microphone but not sure why this is needed as no sound is recorded on any video footage that is shot.

UPDATE: It didn't matter that i turned off data. The App never linked. i saw it pop on network, but still nothing. Camera works & Drone flying is fun. just no app, so no follow me feature. The app won't link to my Samsung note 8 running android. I tried a friends drone of a different brand, and the app did show a picture on the phone through the app. So far Potencies hasn't I'll keep you posted....it did fly, and was controllable in a little wind. Just bumped about the app.

Great starter ok camera. The problem with other users I feel maybe as one reviewer said ..you need to put your phone on aeroplane mode then turn on WiFi and find the drone, I've had no problems doing this. Yes battery life is shite if u use more than low speed no camera ,it is more like 6 mins with video and speed 2. But hopefully they will release upgrade battery's of which I will happily test on all settings for review. But really.... Great little drone for the money.👍

So frustrating, it rarely connects. I've tried to fly my potensic t25 about 10 times and I'm lucky if this app has connected on three of those occasions. WiFi is connected no problem but the app just doesn't pick up the drone. Makes the whole experience frustrating rather than fun. This app manages to spoil an otherwise good drone.
