Finally a worthy successor to the Harmony line. Pros: Highly configurable. Can reprogram any button to control any device. Long press can be a different function. Can learn buttons that are missing from profiles. Activities feel similar to the Harmony line. Cons: Configuration settings are in non-intuitive menus. The app remote can't long press. Loses sync with the base station more than I expected. Overall I'm happy to have a worthy successor in the X1S.

They try. I mean. The app was easy to follow. The remote thing is great. But they focused on tv only. No ac or other devices supported ( who owns a dvd player). And yes, copy won't work with ac since these remotes sends a chunk of info on every press (the temp fan, etc. Every time) I set one tv. Then, I left the remote. Came back. The app is like the first time asking to pair the remote. Pairing no longer works. They need devs that actually use the product.

It works great, no issues. I don't have the slightest clue why there are so many negative reviews. The app simply works. It's not that complicated. I set up a projector, a remote controlled projector screen, a TV, a Fire TV stick and two LED light strips with IR sensors. Everything works with one remote and I only paid $22 for it on Amazon.

So the app interface could be better, but once you get the remote configured and up and working the remotes are amazing. I own a U2 and two X1S now, and they are worth the time it takes to figure everything out. Once setup, there isn't a need to touch the remote config or the app again really. On top of that, many times we just tell Alexa what we want and don't even touch the remote now (thanks to the remote).

Finally a worthy alternative to the Harmony series of remotes. No, the remote isn't as easy to setup as the Harmony remotes were but once you iterate over the setup....GOLD. My Sony smart tv, Denon receiver, Chromecast, and streaming services just work. All via a single remote that feels quite premium in the hand. As an added benefit, Alexa and Google voice integration. We have the X1S and love it.

great app and hardwares. both u2 and x1s freed up 4 to 5 remotes each and can use one key to do sequential controls. just need to try and adjust settings to make it optimal, such as orders of commands with different devices, delays before next, keep up to date, etc. Once done, you pretty much just use it till you find the next thing you want to solve or add. highly recommended 👌

This device works extremely well. The search capability could use some tweaking and consolidation of data would be beneficial. Still there is a lot you can do with it and it will be immensely helpful to us. The ability to have it learn or reassign individual keys helps a whole lot. Customer service has been some of the very best I've ever dealt with. Pretty rare nowadays. That has been so refreshing. I cannot thank them enough.

Remote and app work great! Only 2 complaints so far. Remote won't work with my Yamaha AV Receiver. I don't have the original remote to teach it with, and none of the codes in the app work. Remote occasionally disconnects from my Fire stick and I have to go into Fire stick settings and reconnect it with the original remote. Kind of annoying.
