After the recent update the pit temp doesn't auto update. you have to close the app and reopen to the real temp.

I can't share a cook anymore on any of my devices as well as issues with probes showing appropriate temperatures among other issues. I hope an update will come in the future but it has been almost a year since the last one. Everything worked great when I first got it a few years ago but it has been downhill. This is just for the app so I'll leave the hardware out of this lol

Well, there's four hours of my life I will never get back. Could not get a code to enable cell alerts...that was just the beginning. Finally got connected to internet (2 hours) only to have the connection fail with no discernable way to get it back. This unit is not "plug and play", and the instructions are not easy to follow. Perhaps my expectations of plug and play were unrealistic, but I certainly did not expect to need an IT degree to make it work. STRONGLY recommend passing on this item.

The user interface is terrible for the high price tag of the controller. The initial setup instructions are wrong. I had to Google and figure out how to port into the thing using its IP address, which would have been fine if they'd just put that in the instructions. App crashes a lot. You can't even use all the features unless you connect to it online. I'd love to talk to a developer about how to fix this UI. Just selecting your pit and meat temp is a pain. I wouldn't buy it if I were you.

Worked last week...now I cant connect. I tried resetting the password, resetting the machine, reloading app. Using the online version.... nothing is working. Something is wrong. I've used this 10+ times without much issue with the device itself. But it's peripheral sensors are fragile. I've had to have them replaced after 4 uses. It's not very intuitive....so troubleshooting issues is tough. I just need it to work do I don't ruin my pork shoulder today!

Really great but missing one key feature, fan manual override. When opening and closing the lid the pit temp probe can jump down quite a bit. The dome temp gauge recovers quickly, but too often the fan kicks on and can over shoot the temp. When that happens then you get into a bad spot where it can be hard to recover from. Fixing that to add a manual override wuld be awesome, and then 5 * Another small annoyance that could boost usability would be to set the time line breaks
