Absolute rubbish to expect people who are over 70 to use this method to register a product. What if we do not have a mobile phone? Didn't even want to give it one star. Enough

Quite good, but confusing at first. You have to accept Open in another app - which means the Bosch app, you thought you were in. Seems to be the only way to register a purchase, certainly a strimmer. The Bosch website doesn't seem to have strimmers & it uses undefined acronyms. The app gives you the option to OCR (photograph and automatically extract the required data); then you find there is no way you could read the required data direct from the label. Some of the suggested projects are good.

Great App. I can store details of all my power tools in one place. I'm also able to check warranty details as well having access to customer service and plans for projects. Highly recommend for Bosch tool users.

I purchased a new Bosch 23 inch grass trimmer. I loaded the app as per instructions and scanned the device label. It could not find the model number, serial number was fine but not the model. I tried entering it manually and tried a number of codes on the label, none worked. So I cannot get my extended warranty. Not a good customer experience.

This Bosch DIY App is complete rubbish: despite multiple attempts, I was unable to register a new Bosch drill. The app's scan function and manual entry both failed. This app refused to recognise the product device number: "unfortunately, we're unable to match the device number .... to a Bosch tool", etc. Shocking waste of time.

This App is up there with the worst designed Apps. Won't even let me register...says my password is Very Strong but does not fulfill all criteria. So won't let me register! Unbelievable how bad the App is. Have set up lawnmower which seems very good , easy to assemble and works well. But this App is extremely poor and let's down Bosch.
