I have updated my review to a 3-star, since I have seen some improvements in the functioning of my switches. They appear to be more reliable than before; in that, they are not going offline nor becoming unresponsive. I hope Iotty continues to make improvements.

App works well and the switches are awesome. One thing I cannot figure out is why can I not send a "backlight" command to a plate name instead of a switch? With U3 each switch gets a name and when sending a backlight command it needs me to select a switch name. It can cause a frustrating situation where the app will tell you you are creating a circular error (or whatever it says).

The app takes several tries to sync to the devices. At times you need to fully disconnect and forgot the device you are trying to connect to if you are unsuccessful. App constantly tells you no internet connection when one is there which causes you to close the app and try again. The switches are extremely difficult to install based on their instructions and from what I can tell if they flicker at all once powered on, send it back right away as it will have a lot of trouble connecting to wifi.

The last update somehow screwed up my automations in my house. The front light that used to turn on and off doesn't work anymore. 5/30/24: My 3-way switch still doesn't work although I have contacted support. The ultimate solution is to go to the breaker and turn the switch off if their instructions didn't work. Other smart switches can dim lights and bounce back after internet is up for much less. Frustrating experience.

Very expensive non-functional SMART switch. The 3 prong switch I purchased is beautiful on the outside. But you can't call it a smart switch if the app doesn't work. The app can see the switch but it WILL NOT connect, "error sending wifi credentials". And yes I've checked and recheck my password. It appears the last update made more problems than it fixed. The switch works manually and the glass face plate is beautiful, but the back plate is poor quality.

Total waste of money. Should've just gone with Kasa switches. Spent hours setting up a dedicated 2.4ghz network and trying to get these stupid, yet sexy switches to work. Each one takes countless resets and even when they're 5ft from the router, take 30-minutes to pair... if the do. Several had no luck. Keep shopping! ABSOLUTE JUNK.

Poor choice of controls for the product. Having to physically reset the unit means removing the front plate. Considering how difficult it is to get on in the first place, to go through that every time you have a power glitch is troublesome to me. It is something to consider when I am purchasing other smart switches for the rest of my house. I certainly don't want to multiply the issue by duplicating it in every room of my home.

After the last update, a new home got created, which I cannot delete and when I open the app it gets opened by default. Any help to delete or.l change the default one? EDITED: it must have been a temp issue. While the other non-removable house is still there, at least it does not open by default. EDITED: every 3/4 days I have to reinstall one of my 10 plates because they go offline. Any resolution for this issue?
