The hive is buzzing with updates. Facebook sign-in on iOS is working again, and subscriptions now run more smoothly with an improved iOS flow. NFC hive tags are smarter than ever, guiding you to the right hive even if it has flown to a new apiary. We’ve polished the photo gallery so fullscreen views display properly, refined the sign-in screen layout, and made apiary deletion gentler by marking apiaries for removal rather than removing them outright.

I have used this app for over a year and it is terrific. I can record a inspection, treatment or feeding in a couple seconds by clicking boxes as i go. Now looking back at long term hive metrics is a incredible resource at tracking genetics and success and failure causes. I have recommended this app to several members of my club and they absolutely love it as well.

I wish I could give this app a full five stars. It's almost the perfect blend of user-friendliness and complexity that I need to manage a small number of hives. I have a few suggestions I'll offer here as my emails have not been responded to: hives marked Dead should have their inspections and other information archived somewhere, where the user can delete if wished. And this same information should be exportable in some way, like to PDF or CSV format. Thank you from an Apprentice Beekeeper

The app works great, I'm pleased with it, so far. Update: it has been a year and the tool works great. The only shortcoming belong to me in that I need to review my notes before I go into my hives.

Awesome app! Easy to use and intuitive. It would be nice to add more than one photo at a time when documenting inspections. I'm excited to see more information sharing with regard to activities and dates from the community as a whole from beta testing. Edit: As it turns out, you can add multiple photos only after turning off the "crop and resize" button.

This app is quick and easy to use even during inspections. The accuracy and usefulness of my data has increased greatly. I can add notes, pictures and details about my bee yard and the surrounding forage along with hive details like pests, verroa treatments, when I feed, etc. If you have internet access, it even has the ability to take voice notes so you don't need to touch anything with sticky hands. They are responsive to changes and suggestions. Really works for me.

Love this app. My wife and I tried a bunch of different beekeeping apps. There were a few that weren't bad, but we went with this one because we both liked it and it was very easy to use. It was easy to set up multiple apiaries and add hives to each one. You can easily and quickly add inspections to each hive. I definitely recommend this app!

Of all the apps I've tested, this is the closest to being a decent app but does fall short of being great. I previously stated the app was no longer maintained but developer has commented not true. Before the recent Aug. 2025 update, the previous update was 2023. Maybe "loosely maintained" is a better way of stating. After the recent upgrade, I'm no longer able to get logged into the app. :(

Another potentially awesome beek tool I uninstalled within minutes. I want a free trial. I do not want an auto-renewal, negative option free trial. Response to feedback: How about a true, limited version as I mentioned before? Totally free, one apiary, one colony and only works for 2 weeks. No data backup. That would give people the chance to test the application. Looking at other paid apps, many appear abandoned due to lack of funds, and none of them had free trial options.
