I love using this app with my drone. Makes flying and taking pictures/video much easier. It also lets me get a birdseye view of my surroundings from the drone. I haven't gotten all of the features figured out yet, but I have limited time to play with the drone, as I'm a truck driver and don't always get done with my day during daylight hours and the weather doesn't always cooperate.

App needs to be fixed. All values entered are in meters, meanwhile next too each parameter the letters (ft) appear. Even the displayed measurements are in meters and the letters (ft) appear. This has been going on for at least a month. When are they going to fix. If they plan to seek alot in the US, they need to make all values Standard American. Also app crashes alot while flying the drone and all video is lost. Otherwise it's decent and does what it supposed to.

The app is okay but the drone is terrible. I started flying it and it wouldn't listen to the controller I was telling it to go forwards and it went up and sideways then crashed and lost it. The thing is with the drone if you crash it it completely shuts down and you have no way to locate it. Absolutely waste of my time.

I'm not happy with this app or the drone. It says to connect to the holystone wifi but yet no matter what I do the damn thing doesn't show any wifi networks. I turned everything on and off. Nothing. Glad I wasted $120+ on something I can't even fly. Some of you may say "oh just use the remote" yeah I've done that. Even "calibrated" it, even though as soon as it's an inch off the ground it shoots sideways across the room and crashes. So I'm glad I wasted over $100 on this hunk of plastic. Thanks

Disappointing app to go with such a great drone (HS165) - really lets it down. As others have reported - distances are clearly in metres but the unit says feet. Also the gallery options appear in Chinese and it only shows videos - not photos, even though the card has photos on. Really needs to improve.

Not sure about all the complaining the app works perfect for me.. I do wish the setting saved when you closed the app, I like flying mode 1, and mode 2 is default, I have to change it every time also I like terrain satellite and have to change that as well other than that no complaints about crashing or any issues.. running latest Android update on s10+

works, but spotty... bought drone in North America, but most warnings are in Chinese....Phone settings are in metric, app returns everything in imperial, unable to change. need adjustments. Unable to save the settings, they must be reentered every time the app starts.

How about some instructions? A manual? A YouTube video? Something? There are a bunch of settings, I have no idea what they are used for. Searched for "hs gps v4" and literally nothing. I got an HS165, and saw a few unboxing videos, but could find nothing to explain the features of this "app". I sure hope this drone is compatible with other apps, that might have some instructions on how to use it.
