Solid world/local news and most, if not all, of the glitches have been fixed since inception. (I was an early subscriber.) LOVE the option to read the entire paper page by page as if reading the print version. 'The 'Headline' version is also an option and one can switch between versions easily. This app has come a long way and I highly recommend it.

The digital paper is very nice. Sometimes there are glitches but they seem to get straightened out eventually. There's no fumbling with pages to read the full article. Could use a guide to all the functions and what they do.

The Login Issue Is Not Isolated, Guys! You'd think that, after seeing the top 5 reviews all bemoaning the amateurish design of this app and the need to sign in every day or more, that they'd get around to creating a "keep me logged in" check box. But you'd be wrong. Get it together, Gannett, you're irritating what precious few subscribers you have left.

Pesters me to subscribe although I already have. Scrolls rapidly backwards when I try to enlarge script or photo or political cartoons, which are tiny with unreadable dialog balloons. Won't let me comment, as no keyboard ever shows up no matter which button I hit. Others have commented, so I know it's possible. That's three strikes right there, and I have only been using it for a day. Update, the next day: I unblocked pop-ups, downloaded the Microsoft keyboard, made it default. No difference.

the ads interface needs work. I didn't think the ads could get any more annoying but here we are. I only give the app the stars it has because I support local journalism.

The page turning icons are so large and so dominant that I can't see the complete content. When I try to enlarge the type, the text jumps around or I can't avoid the page turn icons. This new version gives additional options for notifications, choosing topics, etc; however, it destroys the option of reading in printed page (typical newspaper) view on a phone. I am very frustrated!

As so many others have said, requests a log in, log in, still keeps saying I need to log in. Seemed like it was better for awhile, but it's happening again now. Judging from the rating on the app, they could care less. 9/28/20 Update: Was fixed, doing it again. How difficult is it to code properly? Most others don't have this problem.

Since last update I must log in every few days. Please fix what was changed to cause this as this is very annoying but the good news is it is easier remembering my password because I have to use it so often. Lol Just an update on the app and it has gotten worse! It continues to want me to sign up for a subscription but I already have a subscription! It won't let me read the articles.
