Excellent source of information, easy to navigate app, and excellent customer service!! Pausing subscription for seasons is an option. I thought I paused mine with the option to resume when I wanted to use it again and reached out after I was charged for the month. I quickly received a response and full refund no questions asked. Will use again.

I don't often review apps but this one has made it so much easier to identify and research a lot of the fungus growing in my area. While it's not 100% accurate and doesn't have EVERY species listed (no app like that exists), it DOES cover I would guess around 90-95% of what you'd see in my area at least. (I live in the NE US.) It's far better even on the free version than some of the apps I've used that even when paying to unlock the full app you don't get even 75% of what you find around you.

This app has worked excellently so far. I tested it on several species that I was already familiar with, and it was very accurate. I then used it for several several species that were unrecognizable toe and it worked perfectly, so well that I referred friends and claimed the 60 day free trial of the Pro version. I will be buying the yearly subscription as soon as the free trial is over. The app shows several possible matches as well as look alikes, with links to related websites.

I would not trust this app at all. Every mushroom I have tried to identify through pictures I've uploaded were completely wrong. Many of then were not even close. I was going to get the pro version but after trying the free version I would not trust these predictions if/since your life depends on it. Also many of the species the app say aren't common in my area are absolutely common. Same thing with the month they grow, totally incorrect. I had high hopes but am very let down.

Notifications ask you to upgrade to pro multiple times a day. It pops up "oh look, this species is being found in your area" but you can't use the feature unless you pay for it. I give it a 1 star for constantly notifying me for a feature that can't be accessed. Just as annoying as constant ads. I only used the app one time to identify a mushroom, and since, it has dinged my phone with nothing but a persistent ad to pay for it like a hungry puppy.

Great UI and accurate identification, pretty much the ultimate shroom app for Android. I also really appreciate how there are no ads in the free version. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is the subscription-based model and no option for a one-time payment. I always avoid subscriptions when it comes to digital content and I'm sure that many people share this sentiment.

Not really thorough enough for a newbie forager. It identifies multiple possibilities and links to external sources, much like Google, but with the addition of probability rank. I would like it better if it provided a decision tree... Does it have the 'skirt' or veil on the stem, does it have gills... Etc and increase effectiveness of the suggested type. On the plus side, I like how it provides location and season information because that helps get it in the ballpark for elimination.

I didn't have a chance to use it before I uninstalled it. It was a couple day free trial, then like $100 a day. Or might as well have been because I'm not paying for this app. EDIT: I wouldn't know how good the free version is because I was hit up with a screen insisting I upgrade before I could even use the app. The only thing I saw was a pro-version and a 3 day trial. I dont want to deal with free rials, then get mistakenly charged bc I forgot to cancel Thanks anyway
