When doing more complex projects like calendars with multiple layouts, and limited customization options as far as framing, aspect, and other details to make the photos look their best. Plus you pick the photos before seeing the layout. And the method to pick the photos from your gallery has no way to easily sort through, which sucks if your pulling g photos from the entire year

This app is so glitchy! It's so hard to upload pictures. It won't log in to Google photos, even though I am logged on through my Google account and it won't connect to my Instagram to upload pics from there. I uninstalled and reinstalled already and have the same issues. I love the product--just made two calendars for Christmas but also had a lot of issues with uploading those photos. This site needs to make it easier to upload photos you'd like to use.

Frustrated that it takes so much time to edit the photos you select. Because you cannot trust the shutterfly app to position the photo correctly, you have to go into Each photo and edit/adjust to be sure the good parts of your pictures are not cut off. Then they charge way more than an acceptable price for prints and shipping. Feel like I loose so much of my life to shutterfly that now I barely use it because it takes too long. 11/24- down to 1 star.

Using the app is easy and quick. It stores pics and lets me choose whichever ones I want whether I recently uploaded them or not. I gave it only 4 stars because projects are not able to be worked on across certain devices. If it's started in the app then you have to do it from the app and can't be completed on the computer. Otherwise it's great!

Easy to get in and start. Very good discounts. My laptop is not working so had to use mobile and was unable to save my work, no save option. After losing 2 hours of work, I just put the next one in the cart and was able to retrieve later. Cute options for calendars and cards. Would like to be able to put more smaller photos on some pages. Like the matte cardstock on calendars so I can write on the squares. Thank you!

Very difficult and you must re-do the simplest of things over and over just to stumble upon your CART. Other than that nonsense, they print good photos. Here I was making a Xmas ornament. Took way too long and it didn't have to. Too many repetitive steps including uploading photos. A simpler way to find your CART would make it easier; like keeping it at the bottom of the page full time. I thought I was purchasing 2 of the item but, once finding the CART, I saw it was for the one item I bought

Trying to make a photo book was relatively difficult. The app would stop responding and wouldn't save my projects. After finishing a project and trying to check out, the app would buffer for a few minutes and wouldn't let me check out, even after waiting for it to finish for 5 or 10 minutes. The package was delayed a week. However, customer service was helpful, and I was able to get it expidited. The end product was very high quality.

App went from Bad to Worse. I'm not able to access my projects. For calendar projects online, it redirects to the app. I already have an ornament online that doesn't show in the cart on the app. To be honest, it's like Shutterfly is trying to force me to place two separate orders, which would cost an astronomical amount for shipping alone. It's constant issues and it makes me regret using them in the first place. What happened to the ease of creating projects?!?!
