It's good, it just need a few more tweaks. I can't see photos in it yet and I hope I will be able to in the next update. The basic features are good enough for me. Btw, how about you guys consider adding the feature to send pictures and files? I am thankful for the app, it's been hellish to manage multiple accounts. Edit: You guys need to work on syncing too. It doesn't show past messages and it's hard for backtracking and you have to open the main app to do so.

Been working quite well for a long time suddenly now it stop me from accessing any other apps at all. I have to go to settings, and force stop this. Msg keep saying Direct Chat is not optimised for latest version of android. (OneUI5 I guess). Will have to uninstall until fixed. 24hrs later Edit Thanks for your quick reply and possible fix. The problem has ceased and things seem to be back to how they were! Thanks

I have emailed the developers listed contact email address twice now and still haven't gotten a response. I have directchat pro but now since it's no longer a supported app I had to send my order number for the pro version to get a coupon code for premium features on the free app. Otherwise I'd probably give the app 5 stars as I've been using it for almost 3 years and absolutely love it. Please fix this issue.

Was a great app until the developer got greedy. I had the Pro version but after the update to subscription model I got screwed. I don't keep emails from 4 years ago and I can't find the invoice number on Google. I'd buy it again for $5 but $22 for only a year is ridiculous. It simply doesn't provide the value they are demanding.

Had this before and it used to be great... now my messages come in normally, (no preview though, regardless of selecting it) but when you click the bubble, it just says "New message", "2 new messages" and so on... it doesnt show you what they ACTUALLY SAID... just that you HAVE a message. Never used to do that. I've gone through all the settings 3 times already.. nothing. Kinda renders it pointless.

I just want to know for what the hell this app has consumed 1.5GB data in just 4 days? To retrieve the notifications and show those in different pop-up shouldn't use more than 20MB per day. If this app can detect sms without any internet connection and can show them through pop up, that means it can work offline! So which informations did you retrieve with a file size of 1.5GB? Are we kids? It is a real threat to the privacy concern of every single user, have uninstalled it right away.

Great app. Wish I could launch the different messaging services with a shortcut on the recent chats screen or something when I don’t have any particular notifs active from them for a more streamlined experience. Something similar to the box with arrow shortcut seen in individual chats. App seems to disable the flow/swipe typing feature of Swiftkey, but not for some other keyboards, which can be an annoyance. Edit 9/2019: the longer that this doesn't update, the more bugs that crop up.

The suscription plan to monetize is the worst even when the app is not updated or the support is poor, sometimes the app can't catch the notifications or duplicate notifications even when you are in the bubble to reply messages, sms notifications can't be replied or some whatsapps messages the reply box isn't available. This app fate will be the same as Cerberus when they have one time payment or the 'free plan' and after that the suscription plan, so now I stop using the app because of that and more obvious changed the terms of service and can't be used in more devices with 'suspicious activity' or the Pushbullet that got the suscription plan. Bad monetizing plans.
