Its a neat app, but it doesn't search well. I used the gps to find where I am, then did a search of a nearby town and it insisted on going to europe. Then I tried it again and it took me to california. Its just one town over but it chose the longest possible distance. It would make a lot more sense if it used my gps location as the center point to look for other towns. Then after I did a physical search and went back to my location, tall the sites were missing. If I hit the back key I was back in the normal map which makes no sense since there was no indication I was someplace else. Also I would like to know what normal is. I'm seeing rising and falling but without seeing what normal is its meaningless. Also there is no key what the colors mean. I understand red, but not the others. Another thing I really don't like is that warning. You only have that one really loud beep that sounds just like a fire alarm, and could go off in the middle of the movie or library without a good way to shut it up. It was actually deafening. And the only way to change it, even to your own thing is to buy it. On the plus side they include a volume control but you can't turn it off. Even on low its loud. But not as piercing as 100% default. You can see out of date markers, but they don't tell you what the date is. Same with the others, i'd like to know by the minute when this occurred. I'd like to be able to reverse how the date is displayed, it took me a bit to figure out it was backwards.

The app seems pretty good although I've not had chance to test the alert notifications just yet. I suppose only then will I know how useful the app is. One thing that is annoying is it's very easy to accidentally alter the alert thresholds. I wish there was a way to lock them once they are set. Would give 5 stars if this functionality gets incorporated. UPDATE: No lock for alert levels despite this being promised months ago. Reducing to 2 stars due to lack of support.

this is a great app if you need as early warning for flooding. just go to your nearest River gauge and set your own early warning. the alarms in the premium app are excellent and is worth the purchase. you do have to be connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data to get the alarms...SMS is currently not integrated but is on a separate web version....well done guys for creating a great app for communities.

Very useful app in my opinion! It has access to a lot of valuable centralized data about flooding that you can't find anywhere else. It is a must especially if you live in affected zones!

Its just not working this year. We both tried it on our phones but nothing. No alarm. And so last night I just had to wait for the firemen to write an sms if the flood comes...and hope for the best...and that they r really gonna write... And now all my new features r gone cause I canceled Pro !!! I paid for this month!!!! I should have it till the end of the month. But I wrote to Support and they called me back immediately!!! They r workin' on the problem !!! ;) Aug.5.: They solved it! It works!

A great app. It is a real boon to be able to see the real time and historic levels at my nearest monitoring station. Really gives me accurate local information and hence peace of mind. Easy to use and navigate too. Excellent!

I'm in. I made the yearly purchase. Keep working on it. Im looking for more user features. One that comes to mind as we head into I nice moderate flood is I wish I had a sooner warning from the app. POTENTIAL USERS: IT DEFINITELY WILL WARN YOU WHEN THE TIDE REACHES THE FLOOD THRESHOLD YOU THE USER SETS!
