This is a great free app! Has all the functions I was looking for, plus you can type the whole expression before calculating. Update- After 3 years, still an amazing calculator, and updates come regularly to address issues.

I still haven't tested this enough so that I could keep this app. So for now it's good, but still a 4-star. :)

It took a bit to figure out some things, incl simple things like 'E' is 'equals' instead of using the '='. I realize it should be obvious (being blessed w ADHD, obvious is only an abstract concept... ;-D ) but when the 'help' uses the '=' symbol I kind of expect at least some uniformity. Other than that, it works great. The concern mentioned in 2011 about not being able to solve 1 equation but could the other has been resolved, as I checked it myself. Galaxy Note 2

Scripting can now accept user input

Cannot solve expressions when a constant multiplies a variable, like 8-2x²=0 (it will solve 4-x²=0 though). Will change my rating if this is fixed.
