The apps runs smoothly. The lessons feel less hands-on and more like simply chatting, unlike how the website works. There is a range of courses available but limited in number compared to the website. Overall, I prefer the website because the app doesn't have the courses I need, yet. There are not ads btw, atleast none so far into the app.

They've copied Duolingo's format well but have failed in a major area: Getting the user hooked. Less than 6 minutes into an initial area of study (Python), the learning stopped. I was given the option to "Try Cosmo+ for free" for 30 days or "Wait until tomorrow." Don't appreciate their deceptive approach to getting users. I'm left feeling used.

i appreciate the idea. however, this is not a ready product. The chatbot has very poor quality. I tried to start a course and the first page didn't even have a question but it had a chat input with three options (yes!, a little, not really) which had nothing to do with the content. I like the idea but the implementation is not good. I'd change my review if it gets better.

If you've ever wanted a patronising LLM to slowly explain concepts to you, this is a great application. Like the desktop version, you have limited free use per day, but at least that burns one credit per exercise. This drip feeds information via the LLM asking you to confirm you understand before moving on, and that uses a credit. For example, "can you spot the semicolon in our print statement?" is a daily credit used 🤦♂️

I've tried almost every code learning app. this is one of the best ones if not the best and it free. Theirs so many courses to take and I'm currently in school for full stack development and using this app makes it feel like I'm always a step ahead

The AI is pretty polished. A lot of good courses. I like the bring your own topic feature. Using this app feels like a better use of my time on my phone.
