It's been a nice change to the routine. I wouldn't recommend the "not ready" meals to beginners as the directions for them have been semi-vague. Example. you wouldn't just throw the garlic salt in with the noodles and then tomatoes,olive oil, and onion powder. You would want to mix the seasongs with the oil 1st so clumps of seasoning don't stick to your noodles. It hasn't been an issue for us and won't be for someone who's skilled in the kitchen. It's nice having everything in the bag. 😊 🙏🏻

the meals are delicious, satisfying, and easy to make. minimal dish use with the oven ready option means I'm not spending the rest of my night washing dishes. I don't have to think of new creative things to make every night. I don't have to worry I forgot some silly little ingredient critical to my dish. it cuts down on food waste with precise portions. I can edit my meals on the app with ease, and it costs about the same as groceries anyway. It's changed my life

We have been using this about 6 weeks. Meals fill everyone up, and it is a great time saver. Like that there are healthy choices, too. Deliveries have been on time and good quality, customer service has been great (had a shipping delay due to hurricane resolved quickly and easily). Only potential negative is that we do have to plan to order of meals to make sure the more perishable vegetables get eaten early in the week, but hasn't been a major problem.

I recently tried Home Chef and it was nice to be able to try new recipes instead of making the same things we usually do. My kids even enjoyed most of them which was a huge plus. The recipes were easy to follow and the ingredients were all fresh. My biggest complaint was several orders were missing things or wrong ingredients sent. Customer service was quick and responsive to resolve the issues.

Hit and miss in every package. From leaking ingredients and veggies that are turning bad within a day( maybe from the moisture, Idk), I have to wipe everything off. How does moisture get into a sealed bag of Nan bread? The sauce and seasonings do make the meals better than i would on my own. They do know how to take the basic protein and put all kinds of spin on them, like ground pork made 100 different ways, etc. So why do we continue to get them, portions, no food waste.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Home Chef family dinners, and I must say I was really impressed. The food was fresh and nicely packed, and the meat was still frozen, which was great. Making dinner was easy and enjoyable, and there were just the right amount of vegetables so there were no leftovers. The recipes were easy to follow, and the food tasted great. Home Chef offers a variety of recipes to choose from, so there's something for everyone.

Home Chef is the best food delivery service I've ever used!.... I only just received my second box, and even when there was an issue, their customer service was on it. I wouldn't lie to you if you're looking for just a great all-around company with great meals and great options.... then this is the service you would want. I love it, and I will continue to use them.

While most the meals were very good, the prices are insane after the discounts wear off. It costs the same to go out to dinner for 2 meals which range from 9.99 to 21$ a serving. The oven ready meals aren't oven ready since you have to do prep and some cooking before popping it in the oven. The delivery service leaves something to be desired and doesn't follow your instructions on where to leave your box. But the meals were easy to follow and so good but the prices, ouch!
