Trying to find the best out of a series of 15 photos shot in sequence? This app shows two photos on the screen in order to compare them. Zooming and panning is synchronized, so focus and composition can easily be compared.
The best photos can be selected, and the selection eventually shared. Alternatively, all photos which were NOT selected can be deleted from the device, freeing up space while keeping the best photos.

FIRST STEP - SELECT WHICH IMAGES TO COMPARE
What set of images do you want to compare? Choose from:

- An image folder
- A 'date taken'

SECOND STEP - CHOOSE STARTING POINT
- Choose sorting options from the action menu. When transferring images from a camera to the phone, some apps will create a wrong 'date taken' timestamp. In such cases, use the 'Sort using filenames' option
- Select an image as a starting point
- If you want to start with two specific image, long-press the first one, then select the second one

THIRD STEP - COMPARE
- Zoom / pan will synchronize between both images
- Disable the zoom / pan synchronization by toggling the button in the middle between the two images
- Reset both images to full view by clicking on the "center focus" button
- Option to show/hide EXIF data in the action menu
- Option to show light/dark image selection checkboxes in the action menu

Once the relevant images have been selected, choose "Show selection" from the action menu.

FOURTH STEP - ACTION
- Take an Android 'share' action on the selected images. Beware that more targets are available if only one image is selected.
- Invert your selection
- Delete the selected images
- Delete all the NOT selected images (depending on your selection in step 1, either in the selected folder,
or from the selected 'date taken').

A word about deleting images: This will really, physically, delete the files. They're gone afterwards.
BE CAREFUL TO NOT DELETE ALL YOUR PHOTOS!

Been using it for before, during and after pics of projects and it seems to be a decent app. A little less than what I would consider "intuitive" but it might be from me just sending it before reading anything about it but that's where the intuitive part comes into play. The best part is the way the logo is cropped on my phone. It makes it look like one of the "Spy vs Spy" guys holding his trenchcoat open to a schoolyard full of 3rd graders. Thank you Mad Magazine for corrupting my little mind!

So unbelievably frustrating to use. The only main view you have is a thumbnail grid view where you can't see any file details, so if you're trying to compare a bunch of photos that all look the same as a thumbnail, you don't know which is which and what you're selecting to compare. When you're actually comparing two photos the app can't even display the entire file name or file details. The text for the file details are cut off. No way to see the entire text.

Does exactly what it says and is simple to use. Having a grid to help align each photo would be nice. Also would be a cool feature to have a mode to be able to "flip" between photos full screen (see photo A, and when you touch the screen you see photo B).

Very good albeit somewhat limited functionality available in the app. Having the ability to toggle on/off the zoom & pan sync is good, I like having the file name and a bit of metadata available too (also toggle on/off) What would add value: 1. Ability to select images from different file locations 2. Have the windows present side by side in landscape mode. 3. Zoom level is ok but could do with going a bit further. 4. Ability to rotate images (synced and toggled to individual)

Great for comparing JPEGs. No RAW support. The developer doesn't mention what file formats are supported. My album has a mix of JPEGs and RAWs. The app opens JPEGs but any RAW file that is scrolled through appears as a blank box. It can be a bit confusing since the initial "Select Image" screen displays RAW files normally and clicking them displays nothing. Adding RAW support or hiding those files in the app would be nice. Great app. Thank you, dev.

Fantastic app! The best one of its kind. But I have an odd bug. The photo previewed on the bottom is always warmer (slight yellow tint) compared to the one on top. Please fix this issue. UPDATE: I conducted a test to verify if this is a display issue from my side or something else. I used a duplicated white background and found that it looked exactly the same in my comparison. It's definitely not a display issue. It is rather a shift in color tonality. Thanks! 5 STARS!

I will give it 5 star if only you could fix the slow reload while having a lot of photo in one folder. For my case it takes full 1 minutes to load 12k images that I have in my folder. Also refreshing in the current folder should be added. Everytime I take a picture then I go to the app I have to go back to main screen and reload so new pictures appear. Also please add file size at the end of exif Thank you <3

[Edit: I updated to the latest version and now think this app deserves 5 stars. Thank you for the improvements which have made the app's functionality exactly what I was looking for.] A useful photo comparison application. I would have given it 5 stars if there was a "delete selected" option so that I could easily select and delete rejected photographs.
