By combining data from services you already use, we can help you understand what makes you more happy, productive, and active.Bring your activity from your phone or fitness tracker, and add other services like your calendar for greater context on what you're up to.
While the app is free, Exist for Android requires a PAID Exist account. You can sign up at https://exist.io. We recommend you check out the site and decide if you'd like to sign up before downloading the app. Go take a look!
Use our Android app to track whatever you like using custom tags and manual tracking. Add tags to each day to represent things like events, people you were with, and pain and illness symptoms. Create your own numeric data points for things like quantities, durations, and even use a 1-9 scale for things like your energy and stress levels. Rate your mood nightly with optional reminders. We'll find relationships in your data to tell you what activities and habits go together, and what makes you happier. Use it to understand symptom triggers, what affects your sleep, and what factors contribute to a productive day.
Exist works best when connected to other services — bring the data you already have by connecting any of these:
• Health Connect
• Fitbit
• Oura
• Withings
• Garmin
• Strava
• Apple Health
• RescueTime
• Todoist
• GitHub
• Toggl
• iCal Calendars (Google, Apple iCloud)
• Swarm by Foursquare
• Instapaper
• Mastodon
• last.fm
• Weather from Apple Weather
Take Exist with you on your Android device and see all your metrics, wherever you are.
Your Exist account comes with a free 30-day trial, after which an account costs US$6/month. We ask for a credit card up-front, but we give you plenty of warning before your trial ends.

Saying it's the best service I've ever used may seem extreme, but it really isn't. Been using this for a couple years now, and acting on the info I get from it has led to positive changes in my life. It's pretty simple to set up and not time consuming to log anything. Easy for those less technically-inclined, powerful for those more so. Also, if you can code, it's easy to use their API. The devs are very transparent about their plans and their support is really good - which is impressive, they're the same 2 people that develop it!

The best self-tracking app out there (based on looking into dozens of them earlier). This is the only one capable (and super user-friendly and easy to use) of automatically getting your data to one place, add additional data items (e.g. track habits etc.) and finding insights based on that, without making that a massive chore. People giving the app low rating due to price don't get that if you want to develop an app ethically (no selling of user data, full and easy data access etc.) that costs.

I continuously have errors "contacting server" (and just had a validation error), most of the time I try to add tags or save tags to the day. It failed consistently enough that I became comfortable waiting for a few hours for the notification that prompts me to tap to try saving again, which would usually work. This time, it didn't. The app looks promising, but it's only useful if I can enter data. I hope this issue can get resolved. Best of luck with the app.

Before downloading this app, I had a hard time keeping a journal or daily mood rating because I knew I'd never reference it. Exist isn't perfect, but it's the most useful system I've found. The Fitbit integration, mood rating, and a few custom tags are enough to find useful correlations. For example, my mood is better on days after I sleep less, which was completely unexpected. The reason was subtle and took some reflection to find. I've since avoided sleeping in, and putting extra effort into self-care when I need to, resulting in a small but noticeable benefit. Adjustments like this would be impossible to make if they weren't properly informed, and there's no better way than to track metrics quantitatively. A few caveats: If you're a statistics fanatic, this app doesn't give you r^2 values or allow you to control for certain variables (yet). On the flip side, since correlation doesn't imply causation, the app doesn't give you insight for free either. I couldn't just limit myself to 5 hours of sleep every night and expect my mood to improve. The interface is solid, especially considering the challenge of presenting so much data without becoming cluttered; and the developers are committed. Overall, Exist has been well worth it, and would only be displaced if another service matches it and adds powerful features like IFTTT support and causal discovery algorithms that it is unlikely to have.

I've used Exist 3+ years. ❤️ It ‼️ if you have any issues, you can rely on great customer support. Android isn't a monolith like iOS. Some things that happen with one manufacturer's update that might not with other manufacturer's. OnePlus made an update that created a bug that Exist helped fix. Works with Rescue Time, IOS systems if you use both, your fitness tracker and has daily ability to tag daily events and make notes. It's useful and I love it!

I am totally nerding out here! For months I've been thinking I wanted an app to track everything, and I finally found it!! You can add custom tags that are just "this happened today," and then you can add other things to track and select the type of value for it!! This is EXACTLY what I wanted - even better than I imagined!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

The Insights are a game changer. I have it paired with RescueTime, Garmin, and FitBit. All in one place I get detailed health, computer and phone usage with a clean UI. But, the intelligent insights into your habits is easily the best part of this app.

I was expecting it to be something different I guess. Unfortunately, a majority of my tracking data is collected with my Samsung watch, and this was not an integrated service. Not happy with the way the subscription service is set up. I wanted to cancel my subscription but finish out the trial, but once you cancel, all your data is deleted and your appoint is closed. if I had paid for the month, that would have upset me.
