Hard to beat for the low price of 'free'. A few comments for first time users: - The interface can take a little getting used to, tapping can be a bit finicky - It requires internet access each time it needs to download something, not just once - Once the data is downloaded, it is truly an offline experience Many thanks to the developer for putting this out!!

Probably the best app for the Japanese dictionary with lots of features. Thank you so much for this app. Also I would like to suggest implementing bookmarking the words (star icon on words, basically the same as adding into lists but a bit faster) + information whether a word is already bookmarked(saved) and option to save already saved words in other lists.

The only free app I know that does handwriting kanji recognition without an internet connection.

a wonderfully fantastic tool for identifying and learning kanji on the fly. I can see something totally new and not know the stroke order and still figure it out. I know it isnt the focus of the app but I wish it had an in-app dictionary. instead I have to rely on another dictionary app. that's my only detractor but it's not enough to say this isnt a godsend for learning.

Love it! Currently my favourite dictionary app. Really appreciate the short explanations in the conjunction section. I always have to take a moment to recall what 'volitional' or 'provisional' verbs mean so this helps a ton! Just a minor gripe, it would be awesome if we could could sync word lists between devices.

I love this app and have been using it for several months without issues. However, that was until the latest update. Ever since i last updated it, the kanji drawing function doesn't work at all anymore. When I open the drawing tab, all i see is a gray screen with no buttons or anything. edit: this has been fixed. Thank you!
