Version 7.1.6: Go Further Back in Time!

We heard your feedback! This minor update fixes the issue that prevented you from selecting dates older than 1900.

Now, you can easily check historical events or create custom events (in the Favorites tab) for any date in the past. Just click the edit icon in the date picker to manually input the year you need!

We've also included a few general stability improvements.

Really cool app. I wish the home screen widget would be improved though. I would like to change the color of the background and text, at least the transparency. I don't want a half opaque white. Would be nice if it was fully opaque like most other widgets or a more pleasant transparent black. Give us a full color selector. For the top bar as well. We're limited to ten colors, but you could put a color spectrum selector so we can choose whatever we want

someone's got to get rid of all the "historic" killings and shootings on this app 🥴. this is crazy. find other history and balance what you find people ! (I'll probably be uninstalling soon) ugh

This is a great app for all history buffs out there. I check it everyday to get my daily history lesson. The one thing i would suggest to make this app better is to add a feedback option. There are some things that I've noticed that either aren't entirely true, or the picture doesn't match the event/person. For instance, on March 2nd, for 1127, on the event of the assassination of Charles the Good, it shows a picture of Lee Harvey Oswald, which has nothing to do with it. Otherwise a great app 😁

Changed Name

Recently I became more and more intrigued with history and I even planned on making a calendar in which I would record historical events and with that have an overview over every day. I hoped this would help me connect historical dates in my mind...Turns out that this is a hell of work, so I gave up. Today, half a year later, I stumbled across this app that not even fulfills my expectations, but even exceeds it! (It's even available in many different languages...!) I highly recommend this app!!!

App is good and does its job fairly well. However there's a few things I want to point out: 1)When creating a custom event, you cannot go further back than 1900. This is a problem since there are events that Wikipedia (understandably) doesn't consider worth listing, that I want to add for myself, but this arbitrary limit severely hinders customization; 2)There should be a way to set notifications to trigger one day (ideally more) before a certain date or event, or at least show up in the widget.

I use this App every day. Very interesting. I bought the license to remove the ads, but somehow, my license disappeared, and the ads came back! And every time I try to restore my license or buy another, nothing happens. Frustrating... Amendment: Alex responded right away via email regarding my issue. After several suggestions, we both agreed the issue was with my phone (I had recently updated the OS with an android Update). As it turns out, the problem stems from Google Play Store/Games not recognizing my previous purchase. Alex was very responsive and willing to help. Thanks again Alex!

I like the app and I bought the pro version to remove ads and to customize the widget. If possible in a future update I'd like to see a feature to filter what events you'd like to see, for example, events/births/deaths from the US (only 🫣🫢),celeb or more positive events. I understand that history isn't all daises and roses. But there's a lot about ppl getting killed and wars. So it'd be nice if there were a filter that a person could turn on/off. Also more widget colors and/or font color.
