Changing the temperature is always a gamble, because the app likes to randomly set itself to 59°, whether on heat or cool mode. Also, the app never launches properly the first time. The first time, the thermostat controls are stuck open and only restarting the app for a second time clears the issue.

The app doesn't have thermostat scheduling. Changing the temperature is clunky and delayed, sometimes requiring multiple pushes to adjust the set temp. Turning the thermostat off is not intuitive, you have to open the heat/cool setting then toggle a switch that says "Set mode". I called customer support, they confirmed no scheduling function, but said "maybe the developers will add it." Lastly, cannot integrate my thermostat with Google Home since Ambient isn't a paired service.

Absolute disaster. After installation the thermostat and motion sensor weren't known by the app and cannot be added. The doorbell cannot connect to the system. Support calls go directly to voicemail because there is nobody working support. I presume apartment management made the switch to save money, but this new system is absolutely sub par.

Living in an apartment, we got switched to level then this app. But nothing works at all. It won't unlock the door it won't control the thermostat. I don't mind using my key or keypad to unlock the door, but it would have been nice to use if we were out of town.

Terrible app. What is the point of having a smart home app connected to your thermostat if you can't schedule the temperature changes? And that is on the rare occasion that the app even connects to the thermostat...

Stuck at heating, will not change temp or turn off / turn to cool. Manually setting thermostat is currently the only way. Smart lock works though Edit - issue fixed
