Download one of the fastest-growing weather apps for neighborhood-level weather, local weather cameras, and accurate hyperlocal conditions.

The Ambient Weather Network App is an ad-free weather app that offers a true hyperlocal forecast powered by over 300,000 professional and personal weather stations and sensors.

When you open the app, you will encounter multi-layered interactive maps of weather stations, weather cams, and measurements that provide an incredibly detailed and hyper-local view of current conditions. With this data, you can easily find information about localized temperature, "feels like" temperature, humidity, pressure, windspeed, and precipitation levels from actual points like the start line of a marathon or the north end of a beach.

Easily access your current live conditions along with hourly, daily, and weekly forecasts by selecting your location or any weather station on the map. While viewing the map, toggle on and off several map layers for wind speed, temperature, and storm-tracking radar. Locate and select the play button icons on the map to view time-lapse videos of local weather conditions.

And for even more detailed information, connect a compatible personal weather station and weather camera. For weather station owners, our network provides a platform to manage your data, customize your dashboard, record your weather history, and share your forecast and weather imagery with the community.

Something happened and the rain tile is completely gone. There is no add back option. This is on all of our devices, and other people's devices as well. So if I check the airport Station, which I don't own, there is no rain. My station, no rain. Not no rain listed, the entire tile is gone. I'm going to have to get an entirely new system because the most important thing, rain gage, this fkng ap no longer supports.

UX in the app is abysmal. Looking at data from my own weather station should be the primary focus, data from the network secondary. I shouldn't have to manually select my station each time. There's no explanation for the buttons on the bottom of the tiles. There are no widgets, which as others have pointed out are highly applicable to a weather station app. The social media part of the app is completely unnecessary. Y'all are trying to do too much and thus doing none of it well.

The fact that AWS makes the app less customizable unless you pay for a subscription should tell you how much they actually care about ease of use in their app and how much they care about their customers. "Easily move, rearrange, and customize your weather tiles"... for $4.99 a month. This means they INTENTIONALLY make it difficult for you to use the app in hopes you will sign up for a subscription.

Good app; lets me monitor conditions at home. I like the ability to see other weather stations, nearby. It's interesting to read comments written by others regarding the weather conditions they are experiencing. What I don't like is the inability to ignore/turn off certain stations from the Social Tab, especially when they post offensive comments. The app is convenient and easy to use.

This app used to be on the same as my expensive weather station. Lately, it hasn't been. For example, the app said 0% chance of snow. Wrong! I woke up to 2" on snow! Now it's asking me to upgrade to awn+for a free trial. After spending lots of money on the weather station, I shouldn't be asked to spend anymore! Nope, this app isn't worth wasting memory or storage on your device.

I don't now why, my station is working fine, but the app is only showing data from 3 days ago. This seams to happen fairly regularly and it takes a large chunk of time to find the solution online and go through the steps to fix it. It is ridiculous. I guess I'm about to start that process again. This time I will write down the process and save the info. I honestly thought each time I wouldn't need to keep this information. So very frustrating.

I agree that this app took awhile to get up and running. Not too user friendly. After an hour of 'this and that' and reloading, passwords etc, I had it up and running on my phone and lap top. After all was done, the results were as promised. Complete weather info from my unit to my devices. Pretty impressive.. That being said, Ambient Weather needs to work on making the app. 1-2-3 instead of 'what?'

Nor really an "app," just a web site wrapper that conveys the same information. The individual "panels" are far too large for mobile,, and *everything* is displayed which results in too much scrolling. The app needs the ability to format the displays (perhaps a 'full" and ""compact" option, and the option to toggle with a tap), to determine which ones are shown or hidden, and in what order. (Example: I'd like to have the summary be first.) Widgets and dark mode are also needed.
