This app makes the car stereo (or any device that supports Bluetooth Hands-Free Protocol, HFP) think it is on a phone call and stream the music/audio that way!

Most brand new automobiles that have Bluetooth are able to stream stereo music via A2DP protocol and make phone calls via HFP protocol. This app will not help you much with these vehicles. However, vehicles just a few years old that have Bluetooth installed from the factory only have HFP protocol, so they can only make phone calls via Bluetooth. There are also several new and older headsets and hearing aids that only have HFP Bluetooth. If you have one of these vehicles, headsets, or hearing aids and want to stream audio, this app is for you! This is not a comprehensive list (nor does it ensure it will work, please test on your equipment during the trial period), but many late-model vehicles made by Acura, General Motors with Onstar, and Audi MMI would benefit from this app. Headsets that may benefit include several Samsung, BlueAnt, and Plantronics models. Hearing aids that may benefit may include several Unitron and Phonak models. Again, please test on your own equipment during the free trial period to verify correct operation.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The audio is streamed to the car stereo (or other HFP device) through a protocol normally used for voice (phone calls). Therefore, the audio frequency range output will not be the same as using A2DP protocol. This is a limitation of the hardware/protocol and NOT the app. The only way to change this is to buy different (and expensive!) hardware. Please test and make sure you are satisfied before you purchase. We want you to love it, and we are sure you will!

This app can fix the a2dp hardware offloading issue, without opening the developer options. Thus you can run government apps as the developer options can be kept closed.

It works s23, 2024. Audio quality isn't great but that's the fault of the BT call profile. there's always popping/static noises, previously working apps didn't do. The app doesn't auto end when BT connection drops. So it drains the battery and makes popping noises from the phone speaker instead. You can't stop the app because it checks for an available BT connection to END the connection 🤦. I have to force close the app. It only reconnects after a call less than half the time.

I have a Jabra earpiece. It wI'll only allow phone call audio. However, sometimes when playing music on the phone and I receive a call, the music plays over the Jabra along with the call audio so I knew it was possible. Neither Jabra not Samsung were of any help. This app provides exactly what I want. I just received a call during this input. The music stopped and call came over earpiece fine, but when the call ended the music stayed off and I had to turn app streaming off and back on to reset

I'm going to give this 5 stars just because it does what it says and makes the handsfree bluetooth work. I can't do the quality, though. Everyone should understand that's how phone call mono audio is supposed to sound. It won't get any better. I'd imagine people who listen to oldies (say 50s,60s music), could have some success with this as the songs have a shallower frequency range, so the quality wouldn't be affected as much.

Be aware the mono is not just in the trial version it is also mono on the paid version unbearable to listen to imo. When it disconnects from the bluetooth it changes the phone to play all sound via phone earpiece rather than the speakers. Closing the app doesn't stop this until you go to settings and force close the app. Also there is a tapping noise like interference constantly unless you force close the app. Laborious everytime you get in or out of the car.

After having problems with the app connecting and then disconnecting after a few seconds, I left a scathing review and emailed the developer. To his credit, he responded immediately and emailed me again to say that he has now rectified the problem. I just uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it again and that seems to have solved the problem. I would advise anyone having the same problem to do the same. It's working fine again. So happy listening again to all. Thanks to the developer.

I installed this app just to see if can bypass the android auto wireless and wired auto selection when I am using Tidal or other music streaming apps and I want to use a higher quality audio trough a Aptx HD or LDAC bluetooth adapter ( i use a Helix BT HD streamer which is connected to my custom amplifier Helix P six ultimate) unfortunately in the trial version was working only after installation. After I restarted the program or car ... do not know who was first, it stopped working.
