MIDAS M32-Q 1.1 for Android now adds stereo personal monitor mixing capabilities to the M32 Digital Mixer. Musicians can control their own monitor mix with full access to all 32 input channels individually or through the app's MCA (Mix Control Association) faders. The app will offer channel panorama sliders when mixing to a stereo aux bus. Each band member can group the inputs to four MCAs allowing for one-fader control over a group of channels, greatly simplifying the mix during performance.

Setup is simple – just download the free Android app and connect your smartphone or tablet to the same wireless network as the M32 console; various devices and display resolutions are supported, no additional hardware, no computer and no hassles. With no hard-coded limit to the number of users the MIDAS M32-Q will allow everyone in the band to take control of their own mix.

KEY FEATURES
- Select the Mix Bus for your Personal Monitoring Control from your Android smartphone or tablet
- Assign any combination of inputs to any of the four available MCA (mix control association) faders in the app

- Control all Channel Send Levels for Inputs 1 – 32 in your Mix Bus

The app no longer works on the new s25, it might be due to the version of Samsung's new one UI. All of the faders are microscopic, don't respond, and you can't bring up the pan screen. Edit: It's definitely a bug and I figured out how to work around it. When the app is optimizing itself on first launch you have to do it while it's in landscape mode.

It works, but it could be better. It would be extremely helpful to include a feature for storing personal mix settings on the app. This would allow quick recall for a personal mix, no matter which IEM you were using. When multiple users share a common IEMs, this would save a lot of time getting your personal mix back to where you like it.

So far I don't like it. It works, yes! but had a very troublesome experience. Sliders just go up and down on its own. Master volume doesn't work. Have to keep setting volumes when that happens. The graphics are just too big. Probably smaller sized sliders would be nice similar to the soundcraft ur24. midas should work on this and sort these issues out. It's a great desk but this small issues can be a troublesome when playing.

When I got a new phone and tried to install, it said that it was for an older version of Android, to check if there was an update... couldn't find one. This is great if you have an iPhone.... otherwise it pretty much sucked with Android, as it wouldn't stay connected to WiFi. Now it's not available at all. So sad that with all of the technology today (even with Android, sorry), that the developers can't seem to keep up.

I love the idea but the navigation is terrible. Having a button for each page would be nice. It's also really slow to connect to the mixer, which isn't good if you lose connection before you can fine tune your mix. It would also be nice it you could save profiles for the mixes (not sure if that's something that can even be done through the app.

This app works wonderfully for me. It connected to the board immediately. It runs without problem on my Android phone. The navigation is a little tricky, but not bad when you get the hang of it. I do wish that the Android version had the feature to select which of the instrument levels to display so I don't have to scroll the view so much. But otherwise very helpful app.

Great when it works, but highly temperamental. Main issue is how it struggles to stay connected to the wifi, despite a strong signal. Mitigated to a large extent by using the option to force the app to stay awake, but it really should be able to re-establish connection if it doesn't rather than require quitting out and starting over. Wasn't at all obvious about rotating the phone to landscape to get the full functionality but we were in a bit of a rush, and the experts to hand only had the iOS version which is inexplicably different.

5/16/24 update: had to reinstall after phone reset and the app setup isn't the same anymore... don't like it tbh guys 😞 5/16/24 update #2: nevermind guys I had it in demo mode...all good now! 🥳🥰 3/15/22:I use this for church all the time and it's awesome. May not have any more updates from 2015 on but it's still working like a charm 😁😊 The example even shows the keys monitor which is the exact same one I use! 🥳🎹
