Today everyone carries a smart phone along with different habits they want to
develop or remove. All they need is a path and some motivation that can lead them
through that. An android application will be developed in which a person can make
or break a habit. It is psychologically said that it needs only 21 days to make a
good habit or break a bad habit. So, our application will have options for both
categories. The user can add a habit which he wants to inculcate by setting a goal.
There will a time span set by default and the user can edit it if he wants less or
more time. The user will get daily motivational quotes.

According to the research it takes 21 days to make it or break it regarding forming
a habit. It is important for people to keep a track on their progress on how they are
improving regarding their habit formation. So, comes the idea of the android mobile
application called Habits. The application focuses on registering habits that the
user wants to form and keeps track for the specified amount of days. To motivate
the user to follow their habits, the application provides daily motivational quotes.
The user can also keep a track on their status regarding their habits by the provided
graphical visualization provided.
