This app does what it says it does perfectly. It's an offline tool which reads text within a graphic instantly. I'm not in a hurry to get an online OCR scanner, many of which have advertising (which sucks!) So for online content I do a simple two-step process: 1) Get a screenshot of the online content, save the png (I like to convert to jpg) & 2) Open that file in this app and instantly see the results. With No damn advertising & fine functionality it's everything I want in an app

The OCR is terrible with photos, complete failure. When testing with a 'live view' of a printed manual, it displays the result in highlighted text over the image, which requires a steady hand. Movements cause the OCR to change. The best result I could achieve is 90% accuracy approximately. Not good enough for legal documents. I would give this app 10 stars if the OCR worked on photos of as well as with 'live views'. No annoyances/Ads.

Not perfect but, it is a modern marvel. One of the uses I have for it is grabbing a long list of files or folders from a Windows 10 file explorer and pasting into an email. As they all do it works best with space around the text.

Works well for what you need it for. I'd like to see direct scan to document (example: as serial number into tracking sheets) transfer but it's quick, fairly accurate, and easy to use.

Shows you right away what the text will be recognized as, very easy to use! 4 stars because it's unsure of itself and constantly changes even though the changes are all equally close.

Wow this really works! My daughter had a project and needed to find some software that would scan a page of notes and 2 minutes later we're scanning it after finding this great software. Highly recommend.

It's exactly what I wanted. You can take the image and convert it into text and you can copy and paste it so you can edit things. Unlimited pictures and no ads! I would reccomended this highly!

I love it I can just take a screenshot of a street name and it will read it to me or read almost anything. Good for people like me who have severe dyslexia. Some people think that just children suffer with dyslexia but it's not just children it's adults as well. Just like to say a big thank you. To the developer. 👍
