Be warned: these eSIMs cannot be relied upon. My eSIM (10GB for 10 days) stopped working after 4 days of use. No matter what I did (restarting phone, turning the eSIM off and on, etc.) I could not reconnect to the network. Then it started working again overnight on the last night of my trip. I was using the eSIM on a phone less than a year old. eSIM is useful as a backup if you have no other options or need to get connected in a hurry, but I think the technology still has some flaws.

Works good 150mb/s in China. Note that on Android I had to setup an APN once the esim was installed for it to work. By going to settings - network - SIM - tap on the Cmlink esim installed. scroll to bottom and find Access Point Names. The default APN that had been pulled was wap.warid. I changed this to "cmlink" instead as documented in a hard to find FAQ on the Cmlink website. then it worked. Note in that same FAQ that if you buy certain esim plans they will always say "not installed".
