DART TAXI

HOW TO USE DART
- Download the App for free and register your account
- Register a phone number where the driver can contact you (you may update this at any time).
- Our app uses your smartphone GPS and Geo-location function to help confirm your pick-up point. Tap on marker and type in a helpful note for our drivers to find you. Eg. I’m waiting upstairs or a detailed street name/number
- For your drop-off point just type the street address or closest landmark/street and accurately drag pointer on map.
- An estimated fare will appear and you can request on demand pick-up.

- Be Bruneian citizen or Permanent resident of Brunei
- Be 21-65yrs old with a valid Class-3 License
- Have a Car less than 10yrs from date of first registration

What if 90's websites were an app? Outdated graphics, sluggish design, no time estimation until driver is here, location search is very finnicky, default payment is always cash - you have to switch every time, If you lose connection for even a second it spams "Error :(" multiple times. 3 stars if made by 2 students for university project, but not for the country's main ride app.

i couldn't make an account, could not press the "let's go" button despite following all the instructions. i read from facebook that other users experience this problem.... i used my indonesian tel no to sign up...welp, so long brunei's easy transport.

You'd expect this app to be an upgrade to its competitors since the fares are so high, but it is just awful. Don't ever try to pay by card because they charge you for credits before the ride even begins. So if there is a problem, your money is stuck in the app. Also not sure if it is a design problem, but my drivers never seemed to know where the final destination was.

Too Many Bugs. App doesn't work 90% of the time. The amount of times that I have to "search" for a ride is honestly horrendous. This app keeps cancelling my search for no reason. I can't go off the app or else it will cancel my search. I can't turn off my phone or it will cancel the search. Loading takes way too long and it took me 20 minutes to get one ride. Sadly there is no competition in Brunei. Which means dart has very little insentive to improve the app; that's just a bad business ethic.

Brunei still getting used to this app, so I was nice with the review. Scheduling a future ride was not an option in the version I downloaded been though tech support said I should have been able to. I clicked through every option in the menu and could not schedule. GPS of the drivers was sketchy and the map in the app was difficult to navigate as it always tried to reset to where I was located rather than letting me browse different locations.

this app is full of bugs, but it's the only useful hiking app in Brunei...

The app definitely needs to be improved, but it's totally functional and deserves a higher rating than it has. It was easy to sign up, and I love how it redirects to WhatsApp for easy communication. Things that need improvement: - I don't like how it doesn't show an ETA. - It automatically focuses the map on the driver, so you cannot see where you are in reference to him. - It stores the previous drop off and pickup in cache, and it's too easy to mistakenly choose prev opts - Only cash option

I'm disappointed with this app. It works one day and not another. I was just trying to login. It didn't work when I 'forget password' or register as new user. This service is a need in Brunei where the public transport system lacks but unfortunately, it doesn't work properly. I hope they improve very soon.
