It's a very bland app considering the price of the device. There is no visuals of the plant activity. It just basically plays random notes. I get the idea but the app could be so much better. I think they're robbing us. Should at least be a graph so you can visually see the activity. Otherwise it's just a noisy nuisance

if you use android don't even bother buying this device. feature parity doesn't exist with ios. still disappointed after lots of promises they would match features. inam on Android version 12. company tried to gaslight me saying it was my android version.

Rubbish app and connection to my phone. The unit I have I believe is faulty. It only connects to my phone for between 5 -30 seconds and corinuousky drops out. Then it just won't connect at all. Uninstall and reinstall the app, and maybe 20 seconds. Then no further connections. It'd been like this since I got it and my Samsung S22 Ultra was brand new . What's clear is no quality assurance testing is done on either the software or the product. Save your money and buy elsewhere.

I just received the plantwave product I was so excited to use it. Id gone to a showhouse that had these and its so amazing and very relaxing to listen to. I was quickly disappointed when I download the Android app and it was unable to pair. I check the app preferences, switch the Bluetooth on and off to try connecting the product no such luck. It's incredibly disappointing considering I paid $300+! Will be returning it for sure.

First, this product is incredible and I love it. Let's get that part out of the way. There many issues with the ap itself, though. Pretty often, the connection will randomly drop and fail to reconnect, even when the plantwave is put into pairing mode. Closing the app, turning off the pantwave, and turning it back on after re-opening the app is the only way to fix it. Sometimes, the app will crash altogether, resulting in the same process being necessary. Battery indicator also doesn't work.

Doesn't work. Don't buy this device. The instructions for connecting on android are insufficient, even on a newer device. Also why does this app nead precise location permission? That's creepy. Don't require permissions you don't actually need to provide functionality. Sometimes it appears in my bt device list, usually not. When there it won't connect because you need to connect through the app, which won't. Dialog sometimes pops up but disappears fast. Clicked connect once, didn't work.

The INFJ Channel

After some experimenting, and I don't know why this is, the app dislikes Androids below 5g. Android 5g,fine. Android 4g, not fine; it has trouble connecting & freezes up. It only acts normal when I uninstall then reinstall. When the app works (on my 5g), it does play, albeit sometimes even after you've disconnected the plant. Since it'll play for quite a while disconnected at times, I question the device's legitimacy sometimes. But I do LOVE the concept so I roll with it! (Owner since Nov 2023)
