Disappointed by this app, while I use it a lot online, but the app is less responsive(takes more time to translate than on browser), and doesn't translate correctly, or at all, a lot of words(I used it for crosswords, and it was really really bad). So overall, I'm really disappointed about the app but the browser version seems to work better.

I used the free trial for informal translations and it worked perfectly but as soon as I started paying monthly for that very service it stopped working and would only allow formal translations. I contacted deepl and they said they were aware of the problem and that was the last of it. It's a shame because it did work well but no longer does.

Love this app, translations are very accurate and not changing the meaning of a sentence or paragraphs across languages as I have experienced with other translation apps. The camera on use for documents or the microphone translation is top 😉 Definitely good 👍 to have and no regrets for downloading. I have the free version. Keep it up DeepL

Works quite well. Android phone. The 2 constant notifications in minimized mode are extremely annoying. Yes, thx, I know "Deepl is displaying over other apps", we just talked about this, I gave you access, I know, now stop notifying me about it. And this notification: "Manage Deepl: Show the Deepl icon to translate in any app or hide it when needed" huh, yeah, I know, I turned it on, it's ok, stop constantly notifying. Can't turn notifications off for minimized mode to work.

Used to be my absolute favourite for translation and text improvement. But in the recent months the text improvement went gradually down the drain to a state that I'm not using it at all anymore. The Business option used to be a good way for improving corporate and academic texts in most instances. Sadly the Academic option was never a good one as it always ends up with a very unusual and complicated writing that is honestly not what academic writing is and certainly not what it should be.

DeepL is an impressive app with excellent translation and writing enhancement features, ideal for both casual and professional users. The addition of image and voice translation sets it apart. However, adding Hindi would increase its inclusivity and usefulness for Hindi-speaking users. Overall, it's a fantastic tool, and I look forward to future updates!

It is a good app. I'm still yearning for an app that lets you save the image/doc/text as you initially see it on the screen I'm not trying to get pro word for word translations Would help immensely with studying. Also be aware there is an app limit. I hit it yesterday during an exam!

Underwhelming. Hoped to have better translations that Google Translate, but the same pattern emerges: if DeepL doesn't know the translation, it'll show the same word again, instead of saying "no translation found". But why can't DeepL translate words at all? I don't get it. Update a year later: no change, weirdly unsatisfying translation app.
