I have a horrible habit of losing track of time throughout the day. However this app sets off an alert of 2 chimes on every hour and 1 chime at every half. Now whenever I'm drifting away, I hear those dings and i realize EXACTLY how much time I have wasted and it makes me get up and get a move on. My boyfriend was skeptical that it would do anything, but it's far more effective being reminded exactly HOW MUCH time I'm wasting, than it is to just be reminded that I'm wasting time in general 🤪.

It's a nice little app the sound is clear and a nice enough picture for theme. The reason I gave 3 stars is because I think it would be nice if you could choose the style if clock to be displayed on home screen and it would also be a bonus if it where possible to have the sound of the seconds ticking away in the background. I think the length of the 'chime' would also benefit from a slight increase in length by roughly 0.5 sec in order to fully flesh out the experience.

Waste of time. I have an actual mechanical 8 day Westminster chiming clock which plays increasing amounts of the melody every quarter hour and strikes the hour. Sadly it needs a clean so it tends to stop. I wanted an app I can run on a spare old phone which sits on my desktop to do effectively the same thing, potentially even offering alternate melodies and faces. It really shouldn't be that big a task. This app does nothing of the sort. It's annoying, terrible user interface, and unreliable.

I have been looking for an app to act as a grandfather clock to help me keep track of time without having to look at a clock. This app provides that for me, HOWEVER most of the time the tune /chime is incorrect (quarter hours) and there is a chime following the tune. There should ONLY be a chime at the top of the hour. Not everytime there is a tune.

It's okay. I like having a chime to Pace my day but none of the tones are very pleasant. Just okay. If you choose an option that strikes the hour, it's always on chime less than the actual time. And the voice that announces the time, if you choose that, is very artificial and kinda jarring!

Pleasant sound but unfortunately, this app suffers the same issues as the developer's other clock app, Cuckoo Hourly Chime: Requires deoptimizeing battery use, can't be greenified since it utilizes GCM, needs a Quiet Time setting, occasionally stops, and sometimes doesn't autostart. Needs better support. Uninstalled.

Two main issues. When I turn off the pendulum, but it still plays. Then I have to turn it off again. After which it stops playing. So this is kinda glitchy. I set the repeat tone to single, yet it still rings more than once based on the hour. Which is possibly a bug. Edit: OK this app keeps having more bugs. I previously mentioned above issues which are still there. But now even though the app is turned on, it rings once and then stops ringing at intervals. I am finding another app...

This app does exactly what it says it's does. You can watch ads to help out the developer but they don't pop up ads on you. It's 100% clean. I have no concept of time so I thought the time would help and it does. I also use the announcement to help work on my manners because I'm losing them :-) so I was able to program the announcement to say my name and tell me what time it was so that once an hour I'd be forced to say thank you to it. I still have no concept of time but I'm much better.
