BEWARE! This new version of the app used over 2G of data in 20 min of being open in the background! I came very close to uninstalling! I was able to turn off background data use which seems to have remedied the constant usage of data. Very disappointing that it used more than 2 G of data in such a small period of time. Unbelievable.

Poor redesign. Used to be go to app for local news, but now ads and video are annoying upon entering app and stops music from playing. Make the video an option to turn on or off for those who want it and allow my music to continue playing. Uninstalling

Newest app update is TERRIBLE!! SLOW to open, not user friendly, stories don't update, push notifications don't take you to link. AWFUL ALL AROUND!! Ready to delete and go to Channel 13 if they don't fix this soon!! 😡😡

I want to give a high rating because having the app is our only means of knowing what is truly going on in the news around us. Yet the app is at times very difficult to get directly to the actual news that is supposed to be live at certain times. That too is unfavorable. Along with less content since about a year ago, the app now frequently fails to display entire stories. When I open a news story in the app, 9 times out of 10 it will just time out and only show the first few lines and nothing else. Not very useful for a news app, sadly.

The majority of the notifications I receive from the app is weather notifications even if I turn anything weather related off for notifications. It's quite annoying and I'm going to uninstall the app. I was using the app for actual news alerts but the app turned into a weather notification pushing app.

Marginally useful, when you get a notice of an interesting story clicking on it takes you to a general screen and you have to hunt to maybe, I repeat, maybe find the original article that piqued your interest.
