For the connection to the vehicle you need the DTE PowerControl tuning module with integrated Bluetooth functionality. The DTE chip tuning box PowerControl is available for all modern turbo diesel and petrol engines and can be purchased online at www.chiptuning.com. The chip tuning box is also available at all official DTE trading partners worldwide.
The PowerControl app is developed and distributed by DTE Systems GmbH. The range of functions can vary depending on the smartphone. A free DTE Systems customer account is required for using the PowerControl App.

Works fine but giving it only 4 stars because it causes my Spotify music to stop playing via Bluetooth sometimes and connectivity is sketchy (though that's probably because of all the metal between the box and phone). Please add logging of sensor values so we can view them in spreadsheet software / see it in a graph!

(Update)App appears to not work with android headunits,cannot be found whilst scanning for bluetooth devices, lastest update has slightly improved on connection with app on mobilephone, though switching off bluetooth on phone, app resets itself and can no longer connect, module has to be put back into pairing mode again to be able to reconnect. Very poor app, that it appears not to be compatible with android auto, personally not worth the extra money.

I seem to have the same issue as a lot of people here whereby it will connect fine the first time it's paired but then never connect again. Sometimes if I wait 5-10 minutes it will connect again but then drop after 10 seconds or so. Really frustrating as I paid £50 extra for Bluetooth capabilities.

Power control Bluetooth pairing is not working well. Even if you place your smartphone right next to your device, you won't find it, and it won't pair. And often disconnected. It is too difficult to change modes in the car. I request a quick improvement.

They don't have compatibility with Android Car Head Units and disconnect frequently from phone when connected. App is easy to use and has a nice instrument display on your phone. Just wished they would make it compatible with Android Car Head Units.

Bluetooth seems to find device really quickly but will not connect and can't access anything on the app would be a great idea to make harness longer to be able to mount everything inside the cab of vehicle I'm using mine on a ddec v engine and harness is pretty short it was hard to find somewhere to mount the actual unit and Bluetooth device

App works well, however one needs to be aware that the box needs to be close to the cabin in order to have a stable BT connection. Too bad app does not have Android Auto version.

Worked great on Android 9 but since my OnePlus 6T has updated to Android 10 my Bluetooth will not connect displaying a message, pin or passkey is incorrect. My phone and dte box had to be paired again pressing the buttons on the box to initiate pairing as the app describes 👍 app works really well.
